Never tried posting from a phone, but I can post images hosted on my Deviant Art account. I have to use Tinyurl.com to shorten them first.

Thanks, at least it confirms that I am not totally inapt, I’m just not willing to give my email address and password to post a photo, seems irrelevant and potentially intrusive, my phone is indicating the connection is not secure

Alrighty, things have progressed at a unexpected rate, pic as of 2 weeks ago, apologies for starting in the middle.
What we have here is the riv freshly revived from its 6 month slumber, being in primer for a few years this is where the current chapter starts.
(still looking for something to show from its past but that may take some time)
.
Trunk just swiped off of the parts car:

We started at the trunk area as this is when work stopped last year after hastily repairing the roof and LR 1/4 panel from a tree hit. Hoping the addition of seam sealer, where the rear fenders attach, catches the body leak that has plagued the RR floor since restoration #1. Yes there was fine rubber inserts in the seam for a finished look, they were not viable nor practical to reinstall during round 1
(package tray carpet has been changed 2 times, once black, then red! Seems there is nothing like factory stuff for UV resistance, more on that later)
Sorry for the crap photos, just winging it, work is happening fast and this is a unplanned documentary.

Next was removal of the taillight fillers
Trunk cut in and back on, bumpers swiped from parts car, yeah I'm aware some things may be slightly out of order
Roof stripped, body work almost finished, remember, this is the second roof and it too has been tree hit.
Trivia, since 2005, with never hitting another car, formally a sunroof car, 2nd roof, 2nd set of doors, 2nd set of bumper supports/covers, 3rd hood/trunk

On a roll here...
Hood oxidation, It is possible the parts car lived a couple years up north, otherwise there is no rust on this car.
Pics a little shuffled, front bumper beyond practical repair due to a recent blowout cracking multiple layers of paint, easier to swap out, while it was off, before paint, I also swapped the cracked radiator (yeah, I admitted things were getting neglected the last few years, sorry no pics)

Thanks, here is the next round, first I start with a forgotten pic, sealing under the trunk hinges, then we get into more primer prep.
Front bumper support had lost the little lips that hold the cover straight to the inside of the headlight, swapping front bumper from parts car
Glancing blow from tree branch repaired
Sealer primer was good to hold things together between annual repairs, but to prevent any chance of lifting, epoxy primer has been used on top surfaces.
Almost ready for the booth
Smoothing out primer on mirror with 400 grit
A few bays down, outside the rented booth saturday afternoon

Work slows as the hardest parts is done, other interruptions, like bringing home the bacon and a dent in the inlaws van have distracted my painter friend but we are almost caught up to current(trunk seal, trunk shocks and roof rubbers installed)
Planning on a couple hour road trip in 2 weeks, need to get back on it quickly.
Next round of pics: Its dry
Quick booth Cleanup/move out
First time in the sun

Yep I love it, but again this should've been a Silver Arrow restored to the bolt. I love it.

Honestly I do not feel qualified to have a SA, Im obviously hard on stuff, every car owned is used, if its nothing special, kept around for a few years till ugly/tired then killed off in a demo derby
Fortunately this riv is one of my few exceptions, it must live another decade
Next round of pics soon.

Time to pick the best remaining parts, I have 2 tail lights, the parts car unit wins by 20% but its filthy from years of sitting
All new bulbs and electrical grease
Put filler pieces back on with some seam sealer
As of tonight

This weekends honey do list just got bumped, the buick takes center stage as it needs some mechanical love after the body and interior get restored.
Digging deeper and laying out more of the spare parts stash
Whats this?!? Looks like a 8 yr old unopened bag of fender chrome clips
Best of the lot selected for cleaning
In the sun to dry (it may be winter most places but not here)
All housings/lenses taped off, borders and backing plates retouched with flat black
Front bumper was only mocked up to paint, need to take it back off to get headlights/park-turn lenses back in
All new front bulbs
Years of accumulated paint and primer about to disappear ]
And like those car shows where they seemingly finish stuff in minutes

And the first chip is found, car got painted with hood slightly open, out of place corner foam got glued to the hood and has torn free Life goes on, this is going to be driven a bit, glad to have that out of the way.
Up till now we had been mostly working together, Today I was selecting/cleaning parts, he has been touching up everything for me to reinstall. From this point we split up for different tasks, but I wind up helping with the lower trim prep getting distracted from picking pieces off parts car.
A little prep with red scotchbrite followed by grease and wax remover
GM thought charcoal looked fine, trying flat black this time around
Black not dry enough to flatten out yet but wanted to snap a pic with it glossy
