p0705 shifter switch

is it hard to replace the switch??

Can't find that code in my 98 FSM.  Googled it,

P0705

Diagnostic trouble code P0705 indicates that the Engine Control Module (ECM) or Transmission Control Module (TCM) has received an input error from the Transmission Range Sensor (TRS). This switch is also known as a pressure switch, Park Neutral Position switch (PNP), the gear selection switch, or a PRNDL input switch.

That should be right on top of the transmission.  Do you have a replacement?

Actron CP9690 picked it up as a pnrdl switch ,all the gears on the dash would light up , I had to jiggle the shifter every once n awhile for it to stop, also while in reverse I had to jiggle the shifter for my back up lights to come on , it will be done tomarrow i'll keep everyone posted thanks again

got my beast back , all is well in the world now,200,00 dollars later , but that is the cost of not getting your hands dirty.
