Sway bar upgrades? Empty
PostSubject: Sway bar upgrades?   Sway bar upgrades? EmptySun Apr 25, 2021 3:31 pm

I am looking for some direct bolt on front and rear sway bar upgrades for my '96. What other GM cars that have better sway bars that could be installed on my '96 Riv? What year and models? Caddy STS? G Body Bonneville GXPs? Thanks.

Also, I know FWD G Bodys are quite firm, but can I still add a strut tower bar to it? Is there any factory GM car strut bar that will fit the Riviera?

Summit shows a Addco 2419, and the description says it fits Rivieras. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/aco-k2-419-0u/make/buick/model/riviera/year/1996

I wonder if this is the beefed up version or the factory spec sway bar?

Discontinued numbers for both Jeggs and Summit, I tried. It was great seeing you today. Addco is a 2 monthish delay.

Summit is WRONG.  That is the rear bar for the 71-78 Riviera.  It will not fit a 96.

The Buick Riviera application in the Addco catalog,

AddcoRiv

Looks like Addco does NOT make a front bar for the 96. You'll have to find another OEM bar that fits. If there is one, the info will be in one of the links I listed. You'll need to read through them.
