| I like the old ones better because these are too general. Everyone has these, it seems, if they want black wheels with a chrome lip. Yes they look good, and yes they're much lighter making the car much more agile, but as you said you're better off with the other ones for showing off the car. Besides, the Riv shouldn't look aggressive. You can make it a bad a$$ car, but you shouldn't do much to change the stock look. | |

| quote "I like the old ones better because these are too general." I dont particularly care for flashy rims with complicated designs... i like simple straightforward but agressive styling. I think too much detail draws the eye away from the whole car which is in itself a work of art and therefore should not need rims to help it out... but to each his own. | |

| what size are those now? 18's? I'd say they certainly look big enough. I love the deep lip. | |

| I'd keep these on, though I agree the toothiness of the original rims is a little more awesome. It's not awesome enough that I'd buy your old rims instead of lighter ones like these. | |

| It peaked at 11.6 with the old M90 and 3.4 on a cool day. 50-55* if I remember right. Now it's cold 25-30* and the Gen V is on. I haven't checked it since the swap but I would imagine 12-12.5. I plan on doing a cam here in a couple of weeks and will tell you what I am seeing then when I rescan... | |

| With my stock setup, I had a custom FWI boxed off from the engine heat. I have not had the chance to redo it to fit the Gen V and N*. I am currently running off what parts I had left over from the first time... 4" aluminum tubing and 9" conicle filter. It's cold here now so I wont do anything with it until next month. It will be a closed off FWI again in time for summer. | |

| Finally started the mods after several weeks of delay. I am having Paul at PRJPerformance.com do the installs. I think I can do it myself but my schedule is full, I don't have a good place to work, and this guy knows his stuff. I can't thank Paul enough for his advise and help. The engine is dirty on the outside but remarkably clean on the inside- especially for a 140k mi engine. I did have 3 cracks in the LIM gaskets and was seeing a little coolant getting in. First things first... top engine. LS1 springs 105# and seals. Stock retainrs. Notice in the first picture the height difference... First two in... Springs and seals done. Next is 1.6 SLP roller rockers and cam. | |
