the past few weeks i have noticed that at highway speeds and a little slower when i hit the gas half way the s/c kicks on but it feels like i went over a speed bump? it kick on pretty hard anyone have any ideas why it might be doing that?

sounds like a tranny issue on downshift...

maybe but wouldnt you think it would start weak and get stonger not just come on like a flip of a switch.? im going to check all the fluids in the morning ill start there .

thanks for giving me something to look into but none of us want to hear anything bad a/b big componets to the car being a problem.

check all your vac lines..especially going to the modulator on the trans..

He has a 98 he doesn't have a modulator.


I would check Motor / Trans mounts.

i figured it out on accident a few weeks ago when i changed my coupler i took off the line infront of the s/c it is the air/fuel regulator sensor thing i saw it unhooked when i was checking my fluids. hocked it back up and hoped on the highway to go somewheres and instantly noticed a differents
