| For those of you who swapped to the L32, did you keep the flexplate and balancer off the L32 or use the one off the riv? It looks like they have different part numbers than my 96 riv but cant see why they would be different unless the lighter connection rods require less to balance.

| Either flexplate will work fine - balance should not be any different. The newer one just has dual bolt patterns on it so that the dealer could eliminate a part number. The L32 one covers two different torque converter patterns. The nice thing is it gives you the option of running the 245mm or 258mm converters without changing or modifying the flexplate so might as well use that one. | |
