| I just purchased a GV M90 today (including manifold)... early Christmas present for me. It has higher miles than I would like but I could not pass up on price. I won't install until I get the intercooler (hopefully right after the Holidays) and cam so I can do the install at one time. In the meantime, what can I do to the GV to make it more durable/effecient? Coatings? Blueprinting? HP parts? etc... I will be running 2.8 pully, IC, GV, XP cam, plus all the other mods I have done already.
Does anyone have a photo(s) of their intercooler setup? I need ideas on how to mount the IC "radiator".

| I'd have it sent out for port & polish if not already. Look into getting fuel logs rather than rail extenders. W-Body store sells a modified stock rail for around $100. It's always out of stock, though. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^ | |

| The local guy here has designed fuel logs that work well and I will probably go with his. I did just learn that the only company selling an IC for the GV (ZZP) is in the process of redesigning their setup. Looks like they can not get the original cores anymore (they used to use a modified Ford Probe heater core). They will not have a new design until spring...don't know if I can wait that long but I don't want an IC that I can't get a new core for. | |

| I am planning on test fitting a intercooler radiator tomarrow.
I'll let you know if it works. It is a radiator out of a 1985 volkswagon Diesel.
I saw it mentioned on ClubGp that it is similar to radiator 4 at zzpperformance which sells it for $99.99 plus shipping .
I don't think it is going to fit but I am going to try anyway.

| Gv Intercooler $400 http://www.3800pro.com/forum/showthread.php?t=17563 INTENSE is also designing new intercoolers. Both GV and G3. I'm waiting a bit for the new designs and looking at a custom design with a friend. Overall though with a Gen V, the intercooler isn't holding you back much. I've run a couple temperature tests with a buddy and his Gen 3 running a 3.4" pulley vs a Gen V with 3.2" pulley. The Gen V running a smaller pulley was 80-100F difference in temp externally. | |

| I must defiantly agree that there is a huge difference in the way the gen 3 and gen v move air. You could easily install the gen v right now during the winter and it will easily amaze you bone stock without hurting the motor (depending upon driver). And then I would opt for one of he new intercoolers come spring time. | |

| ZZP was showing a sale on TB adaptor kit that included the wiring harness, TB, adaptor, throttle bracket, etc... Of course when I called the sale was over. I think I will go with wbodystore now... | |
