More proof my car does 10-60 in about 6 seconds... I need to get a vid where i actually launch the car.... I swear i can launch pretty good.
I'm very happy in how well this car hooks up from a low roll with the BFG Traction T/As.
Oh and FYI it was about 80* and mildly humid outside... I can't wait for cold again...and rockers.

And i have eleven more of those. And no they are not stock ratio.
Hopefully i won't be trapping 93.44 with these.

New intake setup today. just need some screws. I dremeled out the whole in the fenderwell and i have a 7 inch KN hanging in there... I'll go more into depth later...maybe even include a write up since this is easier than removing the tire and fender cover IMO...if there is interest that is.

Intake tubing is from ZZP , but I'm sure intense intake tubing will suffice.. I'll post a write up tommorow , since i have the day off , I'll tear it apart and take pictures.
Total costs i'd say was about 70-80 bucks , with about an hour of labor , but it looks proffesional IMO , save for the fact i could have left more materail on the roof flashing that i used to seal the intake and covered up all the metal showing there...maybe one day I'll redo it but functionally its just fine.

Wood dash installed yesterday. For those interested its a sherwood kit in majestic burl. Paid 208 shipped overnight ( they threw thew the shipping in for free) from wooddashexperts.com. Pics were taken with my cell phone in bad lighting , so quality could be better. I promise a good photoshoot with a good camera once i get my rims.

quick question.....how did you remove the factory installed wood grain around the stereo and shifter?

I didn't. It just goes over it. As long as you match it close to the factory color its not even noticeable.

If you take it off like I did, you're in for some work. Care with a sharp razor (probably a couple by the time you're done) will do it and then you'll want to sand it down so you have the bare aluminum sheet. Take particular care at all the edges, where the plastic lip holds the aluminum cover, throught the whole piece.
I took my wood off because it started cracking and chipping apart with age and obviously I couldn't paint or adhear anything to something thats falling apart. I would check it before doing it. Try to lightly pry up at the edges with your finger so see if anything moves. If it's solid, I'd say don't worry about it. In my case, the shifter part was clearly falling apart in sections. My radio trim looked perfectly fine but I could pull the bottem of the wood up from it a ways which tells me it was eventually going.

if you leave the stock wood on, doesn't that lift the wood kit quite a bit if you are putting the aftermarket kit over the top of it

Yes and no. Since the rest of the dash is higher too because of the dash kit , it doesn't look any more raised than stock. I'll try and get some better pics so i can show you what i mean.
Yeah Matt , they love seeing all my wood.
