Turn up the volume for sure! The OD pass is great because it just moans and growls along. 3rd gear OD FTW.

Haha yea, that's it. The 3rd+TCC is a perfect gear since it's not too tall that you can't accelerate. When you give it 1/2 throttle the exhaust starts booming and there's a moan from the S/C as it growls up the mph's faster than the rpm's.

Had the car cleaned today at a handwash place. I wouldn't recommend them since they use some haphazard techniques and got my trunk and interior slightly wet, but you live and you learn. Fact remains that I can't wash the car myself during winter.

I think they're all-seasons, but I haven't changed the tires since I got the car. Haven't really had to, honestly.

Took a cold start video today, now that the car's running better than the last time I did one, and it also has the exhaust. No revs, just a cold start and idle.

Nice car. I like the grille.
You have checked to see and make sure that something is not preventing the hood from going all the way down on the pass. side?
It does not look like the hood is bent. If its not bent then the rubber or something is keeping it from closing properly, the gaps not right. Look closely. Especially at the front pass. corner area.
Edit: I looked harder...It looks like the hood is hitting the pass headlight. Maybe you could move the headlight a fuzz.
If the front end has been tweaked a bit from contact you might be able to untweak it. You will just have to figure out where it needs to be moved and get creative on how to go about doing it.
Get me some more pics from different angles of that pass. corner area.
Bert

I agree, was going to ask the same question about the hood. Nice looking car, though. Lol, about the tires. I think I've changed all 4 of mine at least 6 times, probably more!

Did you take the grille out of the car at any time?

The hood's like that because of the rear ender I had over a year ago. It's been brought up a lot on this site. Can't really fix it, the hood's just bent and the headlight had to be reaimed, which is why it looks the way it does.

He seems to prefer the jury rigged, juvenile, bush league, just plain unprofessional look. Have suggested cleaning that up before, but he thinks he and Dad did a wonderful job. Just Saying.

On a more practical note, they're just beggin' to catch on something and pull the exhaust system off...

Probably wouldn't be a bad thing..... Just saying........
Ilan, I know how proud you are of that exhaust... so go ahead and give me a couple of -Negs- as you've done in the past for me critiquing your exhaust..... But it still is worthy of being ripped off and thrown in the Dumpster as far as I'm concerned.
Aaaaaand.......How many times does one have to take MULTIPLE photo's of their car and post them in the same or different thread. It is not HUMAN.....It's just a car, that you don't even drive much anymore. Get over it. And get a life.

Rick, I'm not sure who shat in your cheerios this morning, but don't you dare fucking insult my dad. I left it like that not realizing that it would look cleaner to turn the clamps up, and then it got cold outside so I can't do shit. I'll take care of it once it gets warmer; of course I wasn't going to leave it like that dipshit. If you feel like getting under a car that you'll be driving around for 5 more days when it's 30 degrees and raining slush, be my guest, but I have other priorities.

Okay guys, let's drop it there.
Rick has reasons to be testy lately, but he was a little harsh on the aesthetics... especially since they're not usually visible.
I agreed purely on a mechanical vulnerability basis, but Ilan sez he's gonna' take care of it.
As far as the number of photos, yeah there's a lot of them, but this IS his Showroom thread... it's not like it's a tech thread.

Nobody insulted your DAD, nor would I do so to anybody. but, I just remember your last response to a negative comment about your exhaust and you said that "You and your dad were proud of it". That is the only reason I mentioned your dad. Certainly not to be disrespectful of anyone's Dad or of your's in particular. I had a Dad too, and would not appreciate anyone saying anything negative about him. This wasn't about family, it was only about my opinion of your exhaust system. And you are entitled to disagree, as I think I did about an exhaust system. An Inanimate object. Sorry if I wasn't clear and sorry if I insulted you in any way. That Sincerely was not my objective. Rick

No hard feelings. It'll be taken care of, but the system itself isn't going anywhere; I love the low rumbling sound.
As for the tons of pictures, the car will catch my eye in a certain light when I go outside to do something like take the trash out or check for mail, and I get carried away. Happens to the best of us!

Yes it does. Hell I've been laughed at and called crazy for how much I love my car. I'll give you an example from facebook; I posted a picture of my car right after I gave it a bath and wax and referred to it as her and mentioned how the water beads up on her sexy body. I've posted numerous status updates about her too.
Here's an example of a picture I uploaded to facebook and the responses:
