Thank you, it was quite simple actually, I just measured out the mounting locations at the distance I wanted from the grille R and drilled holes in the top side of the grille and just screwed in the brackets. Run the wires behind the lights through the grille, up along the underside of the hood insulation and back to the edge of the hood near the firewall. Then connected the ground to a bolt on the strut tower, ran the power line into the cabin to a switch mounted on the dash and back to the battery under the rear seat. I ran the power line with a built in inline fuse under the sill plate and put the inline fuse inside the base of the seatbelt plastic cover behind the seat, and ran that to the battery. The most time consuming part was drilling the dash for the switch and getting the lights mounted and aimed properly.

Well it looks really good, I have been thinking where to put them on my riv, had a few ideas but if you dont mind I will probably steal yours

Yeah sure thing, go for it. I had the same issue when I first got the lights, I wasnt sure if I wanted to drill into my grille or not, but the grille isn't in mint condition anyway so I figured why not. At first I was going to mount them bellow the bumper near the plate bracket but I thought they would be more easily damaged down there....and I figured mounting them in the grille would really set the front of the car off with my chrome strips I added to the grille. It's a really cool look at night especially with just the fog lights on and the parking lamps. If you decide to do it and need any more help let me know.

Nice to meet you, I'm Chris...oh btw I forgot to mention if the light you have are made of plastic be careful, I went through an automated car wash and the damn thing broke the right fog light off. I'm still waiting for a chance to gorilla glue the bracket back together so I can remount it. Or I may just have to get a whole new set.

so dont get plastic mounting kits?

Well the actual mounting bracket is metal ( the part that screws into the grille on my car ), the fog light itself is made of plastic, the housing an the rotating part of the bracket are plastic ( on mine at least) It's a way to keep cost down I'm assuming, my set of fog lights was only like 30 bucks at Pep Boys. If you do mount them in the grille I would just try to hand wash the car to be safe.

yeah I either wash it at home or go to the car wash and do it my self never go threw automated car wash
