| Calm down, guys.
Instead of using suede leather, how about using alcantara? it is a fabric, 100% polyester, but it looks/feels indistinguishable from suede - you can tell it's not suede only bcause it is so uniform. You could have a thin layer of foam behind it or even just a layer of polyester knit fabric and glue it down. And it is washable; as long as you don't use ridiculous chemicals, it washes in place rather easily. .
So the thing to do might be to get a *plastic* (instead of wood or metal) dash kit - maybe one someone returned - and glue the alcantra onto it. then glue that dash kit onto your dash. So you don't have to tear down the dash, and so you can put alcantara panels on the doors - on that smooth hard wedge area by the vents (driver side) and controls (passenger side).
Or some such (it *is* your car, you know).
See http://world.alcantara.com/newsite/americas/index.html for more about the fabric; around my place you can buy it at Jo-Ann Fabrics. If you're near a big city it's probably even easier to get.

| Please, unless you're a rapper with more money than brains don't do it. It does not look good in any car I've ever seen. It's really tacky and out of place. I guess it can't get any worse than a Louis Vuitton interior - BLECH! This thing looks like it was made for a little kid and has little stickers and stupid flowers all over it. | |

| I beg to disagree, look at any number of Porsches, Lamborghinis, Ferraris and Maseratis and look how awesome they are totally stock! Those cars are best left the hell alone! | |

| Oh yes, some of the best handling and highest performing cars are so much lamer than an old Buick cruiser. No offense to the Riv but in comparison there is no way a Riv stands a chance against any of those cars in any aspect except maybe ride quality. | |
