| I checked today. My roof stays open if I shut the ignition, door open or closed. _________________ 98 Riviera SC3800 All stock except gutted air box. 1970 Buick GS455 Stage1, TSP built 470BBB, 602HP/589TQ Best MPH, 116.06 MPH, Best ET, 11.54 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UHCda-t_Jls https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sfT2tEO4XcU

| Depends on if you want to look cool or not and if you want a nice tan on your face.

| I've had both. The sunroof was cool, but now that I don't have one, I really have never found myself missing it. The Riviera has massive Windows that let a lot of light/air in anyway. Plus no sunroof=weight reduction=racecar | |

| It's one of the features that I really wish I had. I always liked being able to look up at everything whenever I ride in a car with a sunroof or T tops. Screw weight reduction, learn to deal with it. | |

| All else being equal, I wonder how much heavier the sunroof does make the car. I doubt it's much at all. I just kind of like the closed-in feel. I'm trying to darken up my tan interior to make it feel smaller. I want to feel like I'm in a cockpit haha. | |

| I really liked the sunroof too, even with all the trouble it brought me. I've been looking at a really nice bordeaux with beige interior riv with no sunroof, it just looks like something is missing, but maybe cause i got used to the sunroof. | |

| The weight gain is negligable. The glass is heavy, but so is steel and the reinforcement it comes with on a roof like ours. I really wish I had one, I really liked the open-ness.
My current Riv does not have one and Im actually sort of thankful. One less thing to leak/break. | |
