Go with GM gaskets. I got ZZP'z SC gaskets (had to get two because of the IC) and they're shat. Threw them out today... in fact I wouldn't even try to give them to anybody and have them pissed at me. Waste of $24. Gm has the updated valve cover gaskets too that remedy the "engine fire bulletin" and I believe a new style LIM gaskets. I don't know which set you should get though (L36 or L37).

Recently there was a thread at 3800 pro about head gaskets. Fel pro's should probably treat you right.

GM for the LIM's (aluminum frame)
Valve covers, I've yet to have a fel pro leak on me.
You can save a pile of money usually by getting the fel pro "lower conversion set" for the year you plan to make your motor into. All the gaskets are the same except the oil pan depending on year/make. But you'll do fine ordering for a 97 Riv unless you are going with the aluminum Bonne oil pan for the cool kid factor.

Lower conversion has front and rear main gaskets, front and rear cover gaskets, cam sensor o ring, water pump ghasket , oil pick up tube gasket, oil pan gasket, oil dipstick tube gasket, and drain plug gasket. Not sure what list is..but my cost is usually $45ish.
