| i need to replace my LIM gaskets..................... does anyone know if a bad LIM gasket will cause coolant to go into the cylinder bank.........>??????? i have white exhaust | |

| White exhaust (when the engine is up to temp) would signify moisture or coolant in the exhaust system or cylinders. The reason i say it this way is ...condensation is common in our exhausts and unless the car is run good each day you can see some of that condensation as steam when the exhaust heats up.
LIM gaskets are also prone to failure as mentioned, although it's not uber common for them to fail from coolant port to intake or oil ports. They'll look horrible, but usually not cause a large issue. First thoughts on it pooling would be that the coolant is pushing up a bolt thread onto the manifold. | |
