| anyone ever had an autometer gauge fail or know someone who has? ff so, what kind and what model (pro-comp, sport-comp, etc.) it was?
I think my boost gauge just crapped .out. Actually, I think its BEEN going out. I always blamed the hose pinching/breaking (and it did a few times) but now its completely failed.

| No i've never heard of that. So you think this is the cause of your low boost readings? | |

| if it reeds vacuum and not boost, u have a pinched line somewhere. i have a pro-comp and when i thought it was going out, the engine blew, but it works fine now. i have the procomp model | |

no, fixed the boost problem. Hitting in the low 10's PSI. - 97rivman wrote:

i found my compressor in my garage and hooked it up... it does work. It not a vac/boost gauge, just boost. (didn't know any better at the time). I think it simply cannot work in the a-pillar because the hose will kink no matter what I do. The fitting on the back of the gauge touches the a-pillar, kinking the line. might have to switch out with one in my center console. hmmm, probably the scangauge now that I think about it.
