it seemed pretty loud to me, so much so that he actually got a ticket.
It was too loud because it had a dime sized hole in the skin. Hence the ticket. - h20man wrote:

There isn't much detail about your muffler configuration (Offset/centre ? offset/offset). Any reason you ordered it before being sure it would fit ? This is a 14" case, using mandrel bends. There isn't much room for nice bends and a long muffler. You should be able to get in slightly diagonally using a different bend configuration.

| Yeah I was dumb, I swapped the order for a 14in case full boar maxflow offset/center which is a magnaflow knockoff, what size resonator did you use and any sound clips of your setup? | |

| Here is a pic of my Full Boar 14" body mufflers installed with the pipe exiting the sides: Now that I no longer live in Cali I will get the rest of the exhaust done. | |

| How do you like the sound? Is it similar to magnaflow? | |

I love the way they sound and I would imagine they sound similar to Magnaflows as they are very identical inside and out.

| Ok, a couple stupid questions...
First, i dont know what made me think of this, but what would it sound like if my exhaust system just consisted of a bunch of glasspacks welded together? Would it be quiet, yet not reduce flow, or would it still be loud as hell and just sound like a lawnmower when i get on it?
Second (and more realistically), does anyone know anything about the Walker Quiet-Flow mufflers? Something quieter than what i have would be kind of nice. It sounds great at idle, but it gets too "poppy" when i get on it.
Im going to do some exhaust work come spring and im just weighing my options.

| i have a single exhaust setup, 3 inch hogan dp, magnaflow cat, 2.5 cat back to a single magnaflow knockoff muffler (jones full boar) then out a dual tip. no resonator, it sounds great no rasp at all and its a very deep burble at idle. ive gotten many compliments on how it sounds, one guy told me it sounds like a grand national best compliment ever haha. | |

| Hey Aaron, would you post a picture of your muffler setup when you get a chance? I was thinking install a muffler in the spot where the catalytic converter goes and just have them weld pipes in where the OEM mufflers are at. | |

| Photobucket will do pics and vids. Otherwise if you have a YouTube account you're already able to upload vids to your account. | |

| I like my cars quiet and powerful. I see no need to impress the crowd with a chorus of BROOM. As long as I can go quickly, and silently, I'm happy. | |
