I found this video on youtube showing how you can find out alot of things through the cars climate control. i have not truyed yet but...i wonder if its possible whit our riv's tho??

Not on the Riviera, as far as I know. There are comprehensive diagnostics but the codes can only be seen with a scan tool, such as the Tech II.
Older GM cars did, IIRC.

I wonder if we could get our temperature readout to show boost.... Hmmm....
IIRC the 95 rivs have the same climate control as that car , so it probably will work for them.

i've done this with my dads 93 park ave, and his old 88 caddy. IIRC pressing the heat and off buttons reset the oil light on the caddy. i think i tried it on the riv and all it did was reset the temp.

That dudes steering wheel is identical to the one in my riv... minus the radio/temp buttons.
I have a 95 riv, so I'm going to go check it now....

My climate control looks nothing like the roadmaster's. And I tried combinations of every two buttons on mine, and found nothing.

Our '86 Riv had the famous CRT touch screen... in that you could hold Heat and Off together and enter diagnostic mode, and scroll through EVERY sensor the PCM saw. An incredible diagnostic tool.
