yes sir..leavin 2morro morning.
i swear im either crazy paranoid...or something is weird..
my cars steering was def tilted a good bot to the right...and was vibratin a good bit during stops...not a lot..but enough to notice..
went in yesterday and from what i know they didnt touch anything like that...if so..they didnt tell me or charge me...but the car now seems straighter and doesnt vibrate. and the coupler doesnt make much noise now.
weiiiiiirdddddddddddd

can some one show me a pic of what the wire harness is? thanks

...not really, it can be easier to replace crank sensor if you take off the pass side wheel, and if it was mis-fitted to the car the R&R may have straightened something out.

the WOOOOESSSSSSS continue. this is absolutely phenomenal.

so i called my warranty company...they cover the SC coupler!!! sweeettt!
my dads garage didnt know exactly how to do it...so we called a bunch of garages that knew how. i take it over this morning(40 minute drive)...
he calls me an hour later...your power steering pulley is going..not ur coupler.
i reply, i know the coupler is bad, theres a bunch of play in it.
he replies, yes sir, the coupler is going bad..but not bad enough to replace it.
...i tell him not to do anything to my car. im going to pick it up later.
ill be payin the guy 50 bucks to do NOTHING. ontop of the 200 bucks i paid the guy in florida to do NOTHING!!!! awesommeee

so...list of problems STILL
need new wire harness(SES Light still on)..hefty price tag.
NEED to get the cracked exhaust manifold fixed. not sure.
need steering pump pulley. not sure
should get new rotors. shouldnt be bad.
door is out of alignment. not sure.

You didn't really pay him $50 for nothing. You paid him $50 for his opinion and an hour of his time, which normally costs $75 these days. So I'd say he did you a favor.

Is it possible he's right? If a professional mechanic told me my power steering was on the way out, I'd listen to him. And from what he said about the SC coupler, he's sorta right about that, too. The worn coupler really isn't a serious concern - it's mostly just noise. Worst case scenario: the coupler actually fractures (NEVER heard of this happening) and then you have to replace it for sure. Maybe you need to throw a new belt on, too.

i already had it diagnosed by a different mechanic. i knew the entire pump is going bad. we went to him because his garage knows how to do the coupler and covered under warranty....NOT to have him diagnose other problems. the belt is just over a year old. dont need a new one.

pulley not covered by the warranty i have.

Scotty, instead of welding the exhaust manifold, look here:
https://rivperformance.editboard.com/for-sale-f22/stock-front-exhaust-manifold-t6205.htm

There are at least 2 front manifolds on this thread, starting at $15... Who knows, if you keep checking the For Sale section, you might even find other parts you need.

Just have to make sure the Series I manifold is the same as the Series II. Can anyone confirm? Although for $15 i guess it wouldn't really be much lost if it turned out to be different. Try to get a pic of your manifold Scotty!

Are there any junkyards around you? There's plenty of GM cars that utilized the Series I 3800, maybe you could score one for like $5.
