they are a complete set with tires for $700, and i could probably get them for $650.

will the 10" rim even fit in the back? i know it's dumb to run a 10" rim w/285 tire in the back of a FWD car, but i really want new rims and need tires anyways. whats the skinniest tire i could put on the back to minimize drag? (i dont want stretch like VW cars )

I think as much as you may like them and the price is right, you may have to pass on these due to the 10" width and offset.
I'm not sure but everything that I have read to date would tell me the 10" with the appropriate size tire would not fit. If it did i'd put them on the front not the rear.
Maybe someone with more wheel, tire and sizing experience can chime in.

yea they are still up on craigslist. i guess i'll keep looking. i really didnt want anything heavier than stock wheel/tire combo anyways. (i'd ideally like it to be lighter than stock)

It's too bad. I really like those wheels and tires also. And you can't beat the price .

Those actually look a lot like the 19" Konig Imagines I had but better. Those could work with proper tires.

Good idea to pass. Even if the 10" wides fit in the back, they wouldn't help our car's handling, which wants to understeer. Those wide tires on the back are wrong for economy and handling, plus the rear tires always wear less than the fronts, and rotating would be expensive with directional tires.

Im looking for a set myself but every pair locally on craigslist, they want too much for them, like $600-700 or up. I refuse to pay that much money for used 20s on craigslist when you can find them all day for under $500.

Well, where can you find them all day for under $500.00.?
Might want to start looking there (wherever there is) if that's what you want to pay.

Those are the same MSR wheels that I have but for a rear wheel drive car. I painted mine when I did the paint for my car. They are lighter than stock even with the tires. You will need a 40-44mm offset (I think +40mm is what I have). Check out Eagle Alloy MSR website and you can find the ones that fit your car.

wheels look alright hopefuly cleaning`em won't be tough.

Pontiac wheels powder-coated? tint the turn signals and the black rims will look 10X better IMO.

just curious but what are your mods now?
also if you cant hook with the 555's the BFG KDW2's are very nice and will almost dead hook with 300+hp

current mods are EVERYTHING you have.. but 1.9' RR's, 65# inj, tuned to E85, 3.1 pulley , headers, gen V and N*.. and some little stuff.. i prolly forgot.. but its good for 275whp prolly

Has anyone considered lacrosse wheels? After I get done painting my folks car for them this summer, I figured these would refresh the look of the car. And yes they are out of proportion to the car, no photoshop on this computer...

Did you buy the 18" wheels new.? or did you find them used.?
That will be the last large investment, other some big dollar PM that I want to accomplish this summer.
But 18" wheels and some nice HP Summer tires is something I still want to experience.
