| Very nice. The chrome version is a very expensive option on the Lacrosse. I think you got a deal. | |

| Real nice... I like that you are keeping it Buick... I had some lexanis on a 89 caprice that looked similar but had a bigger lip and low pro tires but were similar design. Good choice just sucks they have to be machined.... | |

| Any Pennzoil synthetic... especially ultra... some people would say Valvoline.. I'd say only the high mileage full synthetic... or maybe Mobil 1 full synthetic. Inthat order.. I'd say pay the extra couple dollars... in the lo g run it WILL pay off... you wont see it.. but that's a good thing... ansoil and royal purple are good too... just not as major of brands and taylored to the racing world... the euro castrol gtx is good... but you can't get it easily in the us... the bigger the brand... the bigger the facilities... and more money for research and development... you just have to watch out for catchy sales slogans... . I'm not into conventional.. some are even made out of or mixed with animal fat... they just done advertise it of course.... and a lot of conventional are refined mineral/Dino oil... they cannot refine it like synthetic and remove every abrasive mineral out of it... at a microscopic level I've seen pics of unused conventional that resembled gravel or concrete under a microscope... that's not good... there's a reason why luxary car manufacturers use synthetic... bottom line... they are better.. its just not cost effective for imports or GM... and they would soak up all the supply which would drive prices through the roof even more.. for something that is essentially made in a lab.. just a very big one... example... they build 50,000 (not a real stat... just an example) cars a year times $20 more to fill the car... that's what...? $10 million more a year in oil for a bankrupt company... the govt wouldn't let them make a decision like switching to synthetic...
I have done ALOT of research into Pennzoil and their ultra synthetic oil and that is by far the best... they designed it starting at the microscope and developing the base molecule by hand... better than the junk that comes from the ground... they also do not load the oil with detergents rather formulate what works with each other and the oil... they also spends years testing their products before releasing them to the public... something GM should do with many of their cars and engines (NA 3800 egr stovepipe....)
Plus I did say in that post how many companies use it... bottom line a clean engine will give u unnoticeable reliability and HP... and the oil itself even without the detergents in it will clean more than a non high mileage syn... especially compared to Dino oil...
And to ad to THIS thread... I think I'm going to get some white centercaps for my stock rims... might check the junkyard for something lime that tho... maybe some iroc-z rims... they would cost about $500 on Craigslist too... matter of fact... that's kindof what those remind me of... the late 80's iroc-z rims...

Yeah...it does suck that they have to be redrilled and machined. Of course, one could use 5x115 to 5x120 adapters, but I didn't want to go that route. I'll post pics when I get them mounted. Thanks for the encouragement.

| I think the iroc-z rims are 5 spoke... maybe 6 tho... but those are def nice.. they'll be real easy to Polish up too... I've seen some people on here with rims that should be on a Honda or Mitsubishi... not a Buick... those will def add some class | |

| There are some very cool wheels on the site (mine definitely not among them), but of them all I like ghpcnm's the best: | |

| Those are the lacrosse wheels I was speaking of. Those look amazing.
Wondering if $1425 is the cheapest I can get them for

| I got them from MVP Wheels http://www.mvpwheels.com/ The tires (Michelins) and 18" rims are take-offs from a 2011 Buick LaCrosse w/ 0 miles. Price was $1100.00 + shipping. I am really excited about them not only because of the look, but also because they do not adversely affect ride or handling in any way, BUT...be forewarned, these wheels must be professionally redrilled and machined to fit, which is another $350.00...unless you want to use 5x120 to 5x115 adapters which I would advise against doing. | |

| Those are some nice-lookin' wheels right there! | You are entitled to take a bow, ghpcnm! I think about copying your wheels sometimes, and wheels are not usually my thing. Your '95 is one of the few with less miles than mine, too.

| Thanks for the kind words, everybody. The bench seat is fairly rare, but I don't know any numbers. I think it was only offered for '95 and '96 and then discontinued. | |

| These are what I think I'm gonna get here within the next month in 18x7.5" size. Throw some 245/45 tires on them to.
