| Nice score Carl. I have them on my Riviera, and I paid double that. _________________ 98 Riviera SC3800 All stock except gutted air box. 1970 Buick GS455 Stage1, TSP built 470BBB, 602HP/589TQ Best MPH, 116.06 MPH, Best ET, 11.54 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UHCda-t_Jls https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sfT2tEO4XcU

| Thanks Larry. I think I'm going to follow your plan on the caps. Keep these for special days and run the knock offs daily.
I get the feeling these caps all have targets on them the way Caddy hood ornaments did in the 80/90's.

I get the feeling these caps all have targets on them the way Caddy hood ornaments did in the 80/90's. Definitely. I have more peace of mind with the knock offs, and they don't look bad. Fit is perfect. _________________ 98 Riviera SC3800 All stock except gutted air box. 1970 Buick GS455 Stage1, TSP built 470BBB, 602HP/589TQ Best MPH, 116.06 MPH, Best ET, 11.54 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UHCda-t_Jls https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sfT2tEO4XcU

| Carl (The Roadmaster), I think I am going to have to hate you. Just kidding. However, I do not like Vickie (the seller of those rims) because I saw those on sale on CL when she posted them on Thursday. I had my brother-in-law (who lives in Howell) ready to buy them on Friday when she emailed me to WAIT UNTIL SUNDAY to see her. I re-arragned my schedule so I could get out there on SUNDAY (I was not busy on Sat) and buy those rims. I had cash on hand, her address and I agreed to pay what she was asking. Then BAM, she emails me that they have been sold. | |

| Oh My ... she did say that someone was interested in them.
I reminded her of the infamous "Craigslist Croakers" ... the ones that say I will see you tomorrow then never show. Roger, I'm not saying that you are a croaker but who hasn't dealt with one before?
Her apprehension was being alone at her home with a stranger showing up ... which I definitely understand. It was my good fortune that her son was home at the time or I wouldn't have gotten to see them either. Don't fault her for being careful. The internet is a scary place full of unsavory characters.
Sorry that another forum member was trumped on the deal.

| My 18x8.5 wheels fit fine all around. Not sure about 9" wide. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^ | |

| It might be close, but I think a 9" wide would probably fit. I'm running 18.5 like Aaron and I have no problems. | |

| Good point by Dave. For 245 wide tires, a 45 profile might work; 40 profile would fit for sure, but ride starts getting harsh, and the tire/fender gaps look too large, imo. Maybe consider a 235 w/45 profile to be safe. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^ | |

| As long as you don't go taller than a 45 profile tire, the 9" rims should work out fine (post pics) | |
