You can figure it out. Just remember to do one thing at a time. Take one code, research it in Alldata, pull up and print the Wiring Diagram and the "Description and Operation" for that one system, solve the problem and then move on to the next. You may get lucky and find that the solution for one thing actually solves more than one problem. If you keep it simple, it will be simple. Good Luck and don't hesitate to ask questions, although your going to have to rely heavily on the manual data for the 1995 (Alldata) as the 95 can be unique and different than the other years. Although there is some stuff that is just common to all cars. One thing you need to do first is to verify the descriptions of all the codes you and your teacher pulled out of your PCM. If I remember correctly, Eldo was able to define most of those codes using an OBD2 chart and couldn't find the description for 2 of them. I would double check all those codes in Alldata per the OBD1 chart for your 1995, just to be sure and you could use the experience on how to look them up anyway.

| Since they're all sensors and voltage problems, check your wiring. My car threw codes for both rear wheel speed sensors, the crankshaft, and camshaft position sensors, and the problem turned out to be my ignition wires were routed incorrectly and bled current onto other components. It sucks to not be able to scan the OBD1.5 with just any tool, and there aren't many scanners since it had its run from '95 to '96 in about 7 cars worldwide.
Check your electrical system. Look for frayed wires, check all connections.

I thought the Genisys gave you the code numbers and just a brief definition of what they mean. Alldata will give you a much more detailed description and definition of the failure code that will be very helpful while troubleshooting the problem(s). In Alldata is a look up chart of the codes and allows you to research what it all means technically. Such as how the individual systems should work and possibly why you are getting a failure code. Basically it gives you a troubleshooting guide that you will need. The more technical info you can get on a specific item the better you will understand how the system is supposed to work which in theory will allow you to figure out why it isn't working. I know the FSM has very detailed troubleshooting guides for each failure code. All you have to do is look up the code and follow the path they lay out for you and you will come to a conclusion as to what the problem is.

| I like having the books and Alldata. When i worked in a shop we had both and the FSM's were valuable for a lot of stuff and Alldata had some features that were easy to use as well. But if I could only have one, I would choose the FSM and it is much cheaper in the long run than a subscription to Alldata. Plus in your case, I'll assume, you only have access to Alldata while your at school. If you had the books at home you could be doing some reading and studying up on the different systems right now. Like I mentioned before, Ebay motors is the best place to find used books. New are no longer available for the 1995, IIRC and new was closer to $100.00 for the 2 book set. | |

| Shawn, did you buy the manuals.? I doubt you'll see them at that price again. Just do the "Buy it Now" if you have the money. Don't even bother bidding on them for a cheaper price. They are well worth the asking price. Just be aware that USPS Media Mail takes about 7 to 10 days. usually closer to 10. It is reserved for books and such and is much cheaper method of mailing. (in case you didn't already know) | |

| Well you got the best price short of "Free" on them. They really aren't that hard to get. It's just that they are not always available when you are looking. you have to keep your eyes open and look every day and eventually a set will pop up. But you got very lucky. I wouldn't worry about the "age". They had a first edition and a second edition all in the same year. Don't worry about it. They did the same thing during other years as well. There might be some small revisions in the second editions, but nothing i would worry about. They certainly are 100% better than what you have now. | |

| Well, newer is always better when it comes to manuals (if not cars, LOL,) but Rick is right about the price... I think you probably got the best price on paper manuals that anyone here has ever found. | |

| If your concerned about the publication date and come across a set of Second Edition books in the future for the right price you can always buy them and then resell this set for more on Ebay and get your money back. | |
