Not a big fan of the Continental cruise. They don't like us non-classic cars showing up. As far as the Gratiot cruise, I have a friend who lives at Toepfer and Gratiot....usually meet up with him.

I agree, we should have a lil meet of our own sometime.

I was referring to the octogenarians who usually are in attendance lol. It seems there's a requirement- the car has to be an old muscle car, and you have to be 60+ lol

Wow thats robbery. I get mine installed for $350. It usually takes about a day or two. In my first Riv, a 1995 NA, I had a shell basically, got a motor dropped in for $300 and that took two days. The next one, a 1995 SC, I got put in for $400, since he had to remove one motor and install the next.

On another note, Im about to add one more Riviera to the list. I found a white 1997 on craigslist for $1000 with 18'' rims on it. Im going to get that one and sell mine. This will be my fourth white Riviera now. Assuming someone doesnt beat me to the punch

I saw a guy on craigslist near Harper and Cadieux selling the same set of rims I have, well they werent a set, it was 3 rims and tires for $150 obo. I started to get them and use them as spares but I slept on it.

Welcome! I used to live there, waayyy back in the early 80s, when I was in kindergarten. I think we lived there for a year or two. We lived on Spring Street and I went to McLaughlin Elementary School. I havent been back since lol
