Yep AND, looking under my car whilst putting my wheel back on, I noticed that my oil level sensor is cracked and leaking. The O-ring is broken and sticking out the side..... <----------on today

| Intercooler is in my possession. I opened it up last night. It's B-E-A-Utiful I didn't realize how freakin long the Water-to-Air exchanger is. The water pump is pretty big as well... | |

| Are you going to pull off the aluminum bumper and cut it out to fit in the exchanger? | |

| Yayyyy! Gonna be an exciting year! What are the dimensions of the heat exchanger?
I just went on zzp and it looks like they only have really one now. That stage 3 is quite different in size from the stage 2 they had which was pretty much like my frozenboost 101. I'm interested to see how that goes. You might actually be able to use those two horizontal brackets to attach to the bumper support though. The top half or so of my heat exchanger gets almost no air flow through it from how it looks but maybe you'll get better utilization out of yours being that it's flatter and wider.

It's 33" long, 7" high, 3" thick core, and 5" thick on the ends. If I have to, I'll fab up some brackets to hold it. I'm thinking down where the opening is for the radiator. I don't have a problem cutting some of that out if I have to.

| Ordered new S/C snout bearings, Viton seal, and Aluminum Coolant Elbows today. Planning on getting the Valve Springs, Valve seals, VC gaskets, and the Karma blower installed next Saturday...also rebuilding my existing snout (obviously). If I can find a machine shop to open my TB adapter to 75mm all the way through, it should be completed on that Saturday. If not, probably wont be done until later in the week.
The Intercooler is going to wait a little bit......it should be done this summer, just not right away.

| Yay. Snout bearings, seal, and Aluminum coolant elbows are here. I have to say...for $10, EVERYONE should buy these coolant elbows if they ever have to remove the LIM. These things are beefy.
Project Karma blower starts Thursday night. I'm going to stay late and get the upper half of the engine torn off. Still looking for a machine shop to port the TB adapter for me.....

| You going to port the LIM, or at least open it up to match Karma's blower? | |

| No. As far as I know, the LIM doesn't have to be opened up at all. The opening is bigger than the S/C outlet. I will change the LIM when I install the Intercooler. | |

| It'll be ok to leave the LIM inlet stock. There will be a bit of turbulence since the blower was done to take full advantage of an IC, but other than a little heat from that there will be no problem. The differences in heat output on this blower over stock will more than offset it, and you will be even better off once you go IC and do the needed LIM inlet opening for that.
Take pics!
Edit: for the coolant elbow, you removing the bracket to put it in? or taking off the LIM? Cause if the LIM is coming off... just sayn.. it could get ported... _________________

| Not taking the LIM off at this point. I have to move the tensioner assembly back to get the rear valve cover off. No sense in buying 2 sets of LIM gaskets. I plan on buying a full ported, machined for an IC LIM very, very soon. I'm going to pull the front fascia off and start fabricating parts and figure out where I'm going to mount the heat exchanger before I go ahead and bolt up the IC and piping. That'll buy me some time on the LIM. | |
