lol the thought had crossed my mind...pimp
chrome around the gauges or a/c vents would not go with the wood grain. the only other part i want to add chrome to is the pillar between the 2 windows. one other person on here did that and it looked good, but i dont want to half-ass it and layer 1/4" strips to make it wider no
i'll need to find some 1" wide chrome pieces to make it work.

I'm not too crazy about the interior stuff, but I like what you did with the grill. Alternating ribs... that's creative and looks nice!

The chrome does look slick on the grill, alternating teeth. I don't like the interior stuff.

hahah thanks Jack and Randall.. yeah shes so clean right now..believe it or not..the engine was pretty much as clean as it was in that pic before i wiped it down thoroughly..vaccumed out some of the vents and little wells near the windsheild..and the other day i actually noticed "gunk" along the strippin along the front and rear windshield..so i took a blade from a utility knife and scraped dat $h!† off...anyone else have that problem? i guess it was just nastyness that just built up from the previous owner..but i think theres more under it and im scared to keep diggin cuz i dont know what im doin and dont wanna rip the rubber part or pull it off and not be able to get it back on.

theres just sumthin i wanna do to the interior..i dont know what but i want to do sumthin unique yet taseful...so no neon lights or nething lol..it just looks too plain and boring...

I had the same problem on both of mine and the rubber had split from the corners on the rear window, it will scrape off but it seemed to me there was some on the rubber that would not come off so with the split on them and seeing that they only cost around $35 I replaced them.

Ever think about tryin' this? It looks good in a light interior and dresses it up real nice.

You could always change out the shifter knob. BTW, We share the same shifter knob with the 4th Gen Camaro. So it should be easy to replace. I plan on changing the steering wheel, I think ours is fugly! I have the same crud on my front and back glass and it's been there since I bought it with 36K on the odom. I think most rivi's have that issue. I need to clean it up, just never got around to it.

good try with the gauge. I can be done but precision cutting and enough stripping, well it just seemed like a pain the the ars.

I really like the grill, it's mean looking and unique.

If you have any reccomendations for future chrome stripping projects let us know.

Well well well I'm starting to see some visual mods I actually like.

grill - Write-Up: Custom Chrome Grill - Page 5 P2020013grill - Write-Up: Custom Chrome Grill - Page 5 P2020014

What kit is this? It looks fantastic!

grill - Write-Up: Custom Chrome Grill - Page 5 2575594_24_full

Heh heh, look at me and my toothy grin. I am a wolf. I bite you.

grill - Write-Up: Custom Chrome Grill - Page 5 Black_top

Black center section good, painted ground effects good.

Maybe the chrome wheel well trim should be painted body color. And the stuff around the windows.

I wonder how that would look on black 18's with chrome rings and at least a 1" drop in front.
