| Hi Gang:My '95 SC had an aftermarket wood grain dash kit on it when I bought it. Today, I removed the dash kit in order to paint the dash back to its original color and I discovered some holes above the steering column where an emblem had originally been attached. Can someone tell me what the emblem was and where I might possibly find one without searching through salvage yards? Thanks, Dave | |

Thanks for the info. Anyone out there got one? just for reference you might want to call a dealer and ask. not saying buy it or not from the dealer rather that odds are they are still around. By the way those UFO emblems were fairly generic across Buicks of that vintage, odds are you can get one out of any one of a number of LeSabres, Park Aves and Regals of mid-90s vintage that are headed for the crusher, on a gimmee (for little or nothing if you're there to get some other part). Might be in other GM cars of near that vintage (bonnevilles, auroras, 88s, 98s) as well.

| And if necessary, you pop one off in a pick 'n pull yard and just glue it on.
Just out of curiosity, what are you using for interior paint on the dash panel?

| I am using dark cherry red DupliColor from AutoZone with clearcoat wet sanded with 1500 grit , but this is only temporary. I am installing a stainless steel dash kit later. I had to remove the old aftermarket wood kit before installing the new stainless kit. - Eldo wrote:
