| No there are dozens of sway bars listed. It is a seville. When you did the search on car-part.com did you put it in as a seville? It turns up several each time on line.
Yes thats the correct bar most likely. But i see little reason not to go used on something like that.

| Yeh, i was putting in STS not Seville. That was the problem. There a few not too far from me at $50 - $70.00. I'll call acouple that are within 30 miles and see if i can pick one up cheaper than advertised. On another note, Neverenough is advertising the front's on EBay the Addco bars for $200.00 w/ free shipping. Made to fit several vehicles, but I found it under an STS listing. Addco # 2018 which fits our cars. (1 1/4" dia.) Also, rear Addco bars for around $140.00 w/ free shipping (Addco # 2015) The prices are cheaper than Summit and free shipping helps. | |

| Well, I finally got around to installing the Addco rear sway bar I've had kicking around here for quite a while. Wish I hadn't waited so long. What a difference in correcting the inherent understeer on this car. I don't know that I'll need to put a larger sway bar on the front. At least not until I put larger wheels and tires on and see how it handles then. I haven't had the time to do much driving with this yet but the little test drive I took on the some sweeping turns was very noticeable improvement. Very good mod for a not a lot of money. | |

| Glad you like it Rick. I had the same feeling about the front sway bar , but i feel like my front is still a little soft compared to the rear but GR-2s should fix that and the car should have a nice handling balance. Its nice to finally be able to slide out the rear a bit. | |

| So, do you recommend doing the front now, before I put wheels and tires on it and see how it handles.? | |

| a U=pull yard does not need to know your pulling these bars from a cadillac. id be telling them i got it from a cavalier or something cheap. No way would I pay over 200 for used sway bars. | |

Nobody does pay that much. They're new from GM for not much more than that . The addco bars however are more expensive , but new , stronger and aftermarket , but for me , the fact that i could get an A condition STS bar for 1/5 of the cost of a new addco bar plus stories of addco bars having fitment issues , i decided to stick with the caddy bar.

| I don't think anybody has paid $200.00 for a used Sway Bar. The new Addco bars, that fit our cars are about $140.00 for the rear and $200.00 for the front. The Caddy STS bars are a larger diameter and work good but are a hollow tube. If you want solid bar stock you have to get the Addco bars. | |

| I didn't know the front was solid. In that case that is the way I'm going to go to save some money. I've seen a few broken GM hollow ones lately on different vehicles at the shop I sometimes hang out at. Mainly on heavy vehicles, on the front, and they tend to crack and break near where they attach to the end links. | |

For people considering this upgrade, keep in mind the STS uses a hollow rear swaybar, so it is not as stiff as the addco bar. I based my reply on this price lol

| You can get NEW STS Sway Bars from Monsterpartsonline for about those prices. Whoever got that quote for used was being robbed. Keep looking. | |

| No worries, bigblue. The info in this thread is just as relevant today as in 2007. There's nothing wrong with posting in an old thread (some people like to point out when old threads get revived. Dont mind them. They're just bored!)
Glad to see the revived interest. Hoping someone will try the STS bar. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^

| The 95 is in the same boat, or maybe worse So any of these STS or other OEM bars fit a 95? Addco only seems to have a rear bar for the 95. Al | |

| So, reading through this thread... still not clear Question: For a 1995 Riviera, a rear sway bar from a 1998-2004 Cadillac STS will fit? Addco lists a different part number, although same diameter, for their rear bar between a 1995 and 1997+ models. So is the rear bar on the 95 different enough that the STS bar will or will not fit? Question: It sounds like the front sway bar from a 1998-2004 Cadillac STS *may* fit a 1995 Riviera, but has anyone confirmed? Clearly, new bushings are required for the larger diameter bars, regardless. Thanks, Al | |

| My rear bushing is a hard rubber Ford bushing, bored out to size (thanks John at NeverEnoughAuto). | Without pulling a 98-2004 STS front and rear bar to "test", does someone have access to a parts cross reference to see if that series bars will fit a 1995 Riviera?

| yes. Ignore the addco parts catalogue. 02015 and 02018 are the p/n. | |
