| AA, I honestly had no idea where to put this. Move it where ever makes sense. DIRECT LINK TO THE PHOTOBUCKET ALBUM These are all the reference pictures I took with my phone and camera while I was taking apart the 98 riv for wiring and stuff. I just went ahead and uploaded them onto photobucket. I didn't really do anything special with resolution or rendering so if there's something you see that you could use an original quality pic of, let me know and I can email it or something. Instead of posting ~120 pictures right on here, I just have the link. Plus I'm going to go through and rotate some and whatnot so they make more sense. | |

| Wow, when did you do this? Did you stiffen the chassis at all while it was torn apart like this, and did you clean up any rust? They are really great pictures! Thanks for sharing! It looks like that brace behind the back seats could be strengthened for more chassis stiffness, although that is probably the part of the car that doesn't need to be stiffened up, because it already has that large x brace. | |

| Codith, did you drop weight when reinstalling? What did you omit or cut out?

| That was a spare riv I bought to rip apart - not the turtle.
After getting all down to the core, I didn't really feel like there was a lot of practical things to do to lighten or stiffen without sacrificing something I would want to retain. There isn't a ton of extra sound deadening as you might expect. The biggest/heaviest bit of it was the big piece of insulation that goes right on the firewall and that is not something I'd ever take out, especially in a daily driven car. IMO You can't really do much without crossing the line of tubbing out the car. Stiffening, aside from a rear strut brace what could you really do? | |
