| I'm just going to order them anyways. I can use them on other springs in the future if I ever upgrade, and it's not like I'm really paying for them anyways. Would you guys recommend doing the valve seals? I don't have any oil issues.... | |

| Might as well. They're easy and cheap. I didn't do mine during the rocker install, but got a fresh set with the rebuild later on. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^ | |

| I'm also running stock cam....no need for retainers. Eh, is what it is.
Yes, the Valve Seals are a gravy install, and good insurance.

| Guess I'll bring this thread back from the dead! Mostly just wanted another Riv owner's opinion on the issue, so:
Just bought 1.9 ZZP rockers (for basically nothing) so I want to install them. 145k on engine mostly highway, so I'll definitely get springs, but should I go more tame with 90# ones or would there be a benefit to 105#? It may sound backwards to say "I don't want to stress the valvetrain too much" but I'm just looking for a small power bump here, not trying to win a drag race, so I still want everything to be reliable. Just figured I'd ask if anyone's got advice, thanks
