| I'm starting to put together my tail end exhaust and this is what we have so far. picture of the stock exhaust (someone else's riv, not mine) This is what's going in to replace it, well two of those obviously. as you can see, not much slowing the flow of exhaust here | |

| you sure that wont be cra-zee loud? I guess we will find out. Those are pretty long and you do have two, so that will help.
Are you keeping the resonator and cat?

Are you keeping the resonator and cat? ditto to the " I guess we will find out" i got that for free (long story) so its a fairly harmless trial right now im not touching the resonator or cat I have a friend with a 98 GTP and hes got 3inch straight pipe from the DP back with no mufflers or anything (stock exhaust manifolds and im not sure if he has stock DP or not) but its loud when you get on it or rev it but not like retardedly loud and its still surprisingly toned. really low tone and kinda rumbly but not what ud expect out of 3in straight pipe. he also has a 3.0in s/c pulley and a ported blower with a ghetto FWI and somehow has minimal KR

| Keeping the resonator will help for sure. Especially bein that it is tuned for the engine. If I remember right, out res is HUGE compared to other L36/L76s. It is also a straight shot glass pack. | |

Well i can tell you right now this operation costs you about 100 for everything you need (retail). As i have pretty carefully planned it, it should be a straight forward install. Just cut the rears off right after the Y and leave some pipe there to put these onto. Im using adapters to fit the larger 2.25 inch pipe onto and no welding is necessary. Just a few exhaust clamps and two holes will be drilled into the inside of the rear bumper to mount the new hangers. I suspect it will be fairly easy. I will definitely post on it once i've completed it.

| I woke up today and it was raining/snowing/sleeting - 32deg out and i was like 'this is some $h!†" my luck never seizes.
Oh well i put it in the garage with a little pos space heater and i was set. I cut the mufflers off with a sawsall and got to it. At this point I have all the hard stuff done and figured out basically. As I type this, i'm uploading a pretty high quality video of the glasspacks installed that you will all like, I know because there's a little TREAT at the end.
I'll post the pics up a little later
