| update: ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS CAR! found some settings that make me NEVER have to get me key out of my pocket....even to remote start(can do from phone) then locking i can just walk away from it and after like 4 seconds of being out of the car it beeps and locks. handles so well.
my only gripe...and trust me...its pretty damn small...the way it shows album art and it doesnt show for all.....its also easier to browse media on a flash drive from steering wheel than it is with touch screen. I actually just bought a tablet that ill slide over it and stream over bluetooth.
and gas mileage is ehhhhh...barely bettter than riv lol
deek its the 2.0 Turbo. | |

correct. looks like this anddd this lovely app - damnjetski wrote:
- The stick Regal is pretty fun to drive. But as our GM rep said "Buick Giveth, Buick Taketh Away," the 2.0L Turbo is the only engine option in 2014. Granted it is the GS engine from last year, it's still not as peppy as you'd expect and there is no 'go faster' upgrade. I'd expect something sexier from them next year, but no word as to what. Any mods planned on this one?
As far as the tech options go, using the instrument panel screen to select phone numbers and place calls is pretty great. next year the GNX is slated to be released. Probably an upgraded engine for the 15 GS/GNX. i have 0 plans of any mods until spring. I may add a K&N CAI. since i bought it the average temp here has been 10 degrees so i have barely looked under the hood. i love the option to browse all music from the instrument panel. what im actually doing is buying a tablet to put over the current touch screen to have some better features for in car options such as using my bluetooth obd2 reader for some cool car info with the car gauge app i have. i think its called torque for android. Also can a much cooler looking homescreen. With the instrument panel options i dont lose any real functionality and the tablet will be easily removable so i can still use backup cam or easily access the settings. Media will run over bluetooth as well. Ill post some pics when that comes in and i get it mounted properly. I mounted a couple tablet in my old car and it was awesome as hell.

If you go with the K&N, let us know what the CAI does in terms of mpg and performance, kinda the two areas that the Regal should probably have more to offer in order to be competitive. As far as the GNX goes, it should be pretty great, especially with the turbo 3.6. The thinking around the lot is that it may end up replacing the Regal.

| So far I love it. I've always had a thing for station wagons and it's a great cruiser. I bought it at a dealership over 100 miles away and it did great. My wife and I are planning a trip at the end of May to do Route 66 and this should be the perfect car. I also got a 3 year 36k mile powertrain warranty out of the deal. | |

| Sounds like it's got the same keyless entry as my Volt. The FOB looks identical. You are also closely describing the Chevy "MyLink" radio and that's the same OnStar app I use for the Volt (although we get an extra page of charging info). I find the app doesn't work consistently, especially when trying to remote start at 5:00 PM I think they have server load balancing issues. But the FOB has great range. | |

| Thought I would show you guys the new custom Lloyd floor mats that my fiance had made for my SHO for Christmas. She also got me an black anodized aluminum shift knob. I didn't even help her out! I must say that she has good taste and I've definitely picked a winner. The SHO interior is just about complete! | |

| Exterior modding, stage 1 - GTO's nostrils are gone. I found a used smooth '04 hood on ebay in Detroit, drove up and snagged it last weekend (waited 4 months to find!). Since most 2004 owners would rather have the more aggressive '05/06 version, it's a common swap. I plan to sell my scooped '05 hood for more than I paid for this one + paint costs. Fact about the 2005 GTO: out of 11,069 produced, 24 were optioned with the smooth '04/Monaro style hood, so my car will technically be correctly optioned, though not original. There were no '06s with smooth hoods, so according to the numbers, there were only 24 GTOs produced with smooth hoods + the 05/06 rear bumper w/dual exhaust. Good news, it fits! Admittedly, was a bit nervous. Photoshopped paint simulation: GTO and Riviera will look much better parked next to each other! _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^ | |
