| I have seen several Riv's with rear spoilers on them... none in the photo's here tho. I am considering putting one on, I kinda like the look. Any opinions? | |

i had pictures but they are long gone Yeah I remember that one he was trying to sell that car on ebay forever. The only thing I liked about that car was the spoiler. Best looking one I have seen on a Riv IMO.

| Ive seen a spoiler on sale for the Riviera on ebay for $70 unpainted, and I was wondering had anyone put one on their car yet, and how easy is it to install it? | |

| Yeah thats the one. Ive seen it on Auroras and it looks fairly decent, but I was wondering how easy would it be to install with the third light being involved and all. | |

Couple of holes in the trunk, some spliced wiring....not that hard. (P.S.) I work at a body shop.....and live near you

| Im seriously thinking about getting that. Im going to tint the taillight sometime this week and I was thinking about going ahead and adding the spoiler, as long as it looked right. | |

| I would give them the paint code for your car and pay the extra. The last time I priced out the painted unit on Ebay from that company it was total $150.00 painted and shipped. They use PPG paint which matches the car perfectly. I bought the painted one based on the recommendation of my painter -body man, who also uses PPG paint, and he told me he would have charge me about $150.00 just to prep and paint it properly. So that's the route i went and I installed it and just hooked the wires up to the existing wires in the trunk (use small diameter speaker wire. LED"s don't draw enough current to worry about.) for the third eye brake light. Used some plastic wire loom and ran it inside the cavity in the trunk lid and then followed the wires from the trunk light and all looks factory. I have about 75% for it and 25% so-so feedback. I like it, so that's all that matters. Sorry don't hyave any pic's of my car, but it looks like just what you see on the website. I'm not absolutely sure the company you are looking at is the same one I did business with. Maybe I can find the receipt sometime soon for you.

| So you just hooked it up to the lights that run from the interior of the trunk? | |

| I found the receipts and paperwork from the spoiler purchase. I bought it from :thespoilerstore on Ebay. The price painted was $128.00 And another $30.00 for shipping. As i said the paint matched perfectly and arrived about 7 to 10 days after ordering without a scratch on it, all buffed and ready for install. I was very impressed with the quality of it for the money and have received many positive comments. I went to my body man first and had him point out the paint code for me so i could order the proper one for the car. | |
