| I was out to see a customer yesterday, and in their parking lot was a black Riv with a spoiler on the trunklid. While I'm not interested in buying one myself, I was wondering who sells them? Maybe the owner is on this board. | |

| Can somebody photoshop this on for me? I kind of like the design but I don't know how it would look. Claimed to be custom fit for our cars.

| Hey Matt, check this one out. It says it has the third brake light and also has three "legs". I was going to go with this one but its kinda pricey.

| I've seen it before. You can get them on eBay painted for a little cheaper. I was just curious as to what that other one would actually look like. | |

| As of a couple weeks ago there was a white spoiler in the back seat of a 98 at the Durham NC, LKQ. I think they wanted about $30 for it.

| Excessive and not needed, in my opinion. Doesnt drastically change the look and wont help you go any faster or get better MPGs.

| Change the look yeah. Drastically, no way. Not even close to what a new set of wheels can do.

| Finally finished installing the spoiler. Waited for the paint to cure for a few days. Pretty close to a match, and a decent finish using rattle cans Mounting screws that came with the kit were alittle short, so I used longer ones to secure it better. Although the spoiler is fairly light, surprised and pleased my lifts still work. Taped and loomed wires and attached to 3rd brake light. LEDs look pretty good, overall very pleased with the end result. Total cost: Spoiler kit, paint, etc. was around $90.00 | |

| Bro, I mean, Mr. Chris.. Looks sweet! Wish you wouldve sent us some more angles!
I especially like what you did with the Riviera insignia! I might just do that to mine after the rest of the back gets shaved! The wings on the R looks cool too!
Nice style!
Do you know the estimated weight of the spoiler and wiring? ...just curious...
Thank you! | |

| Thankyou, thinking the total weight was less than 10 pounds. Just went out and looked at the LEDs again (dark out now). The visible output is very close to rest of the lights. | |

| Hmmmm! I like the "Riviera" badge on the corner of the trunk lid too... I might have to borrow that... | |

| Other members get credit as I also borrowed that idea. Another place I've seen the script used to dress up the interior is on the ashtray cover. I liked that idea, but used a 1963 Riv glove box emblem instead. As one might say .......... Alittle old with the new . | |

| Got it on today. Still haven't gotten the light hooked up but as soon as I do I'll get pictures. It's 95% straight. You can only really tell it's a bit off if you look for it. It matches the 4 other shades of white on my car, so that's a plus. I had to use longer screws because A: I lost the ones that came with it, and B: they were too short anyways unless I were to drill a bigger hole in the first layer of the trunk so they sat flush with the second layer. I might do that someday because it would probably look better. I also used caulking around it because it would provide a better seal than the gaskets that I lost.

| Excellent, looking forward to seeing it. Looks like I managed to wipe out all the pictures I had posted earlier . Once I figure out where I screwed up at I'll take some more pics and repost. | |

| Should have waited for hosting service to get fixed . Anyway, seems to be working now so I will repost deleted pics. Not too bad for rattle cans. Paint matched up pretty good. Thankfully spoiler isn't too heavy for my lifts . LED lights up pretty evenly with brake lights. And finally, will get around to taking pics of different angles ............ | |

| I went through and fixed my pictures. I love how you can't see the wing at all in the mirrors. Made me a bit nervous during the first drive because I couldn't watch it but everything turned out fine. | |
