| the guys on regalgs just went in on a group buy for the STS universal. i believe they paid something like 30-40 instead of $69. might want to take a look over there to see how many people are needed for discounts or if you can tag along on their group buy. _________________ 1996 with 254k miles, L32 4" FWI -> ported N* -> Ported Gen V w/3.0" Pulley, Stage 3 Phenolic I/C, ZZP FMHE, 1.84 RR, Headers and 3" pipe to mufflers, F-body brakes, and lowered on Eibachs. -RIP AMG C400 White on black. | Have you done a "Search" on here for Sequential Lights. I think you'll find the latest vendor listed somewhere. The company I bought from is out of business, but there is an USA maker now advertising. | |

| DUH, BTW, what made me the grinch for saying do a search. And as you said it was 3 or 4 post's up. http://www.webelectricproducts.com./ The STS Universal kit looks like the one to get.
Eldo, Now it's up to you to explain how to install it. Since you did it last. And don't forget it. Don't want to hear I'm packing and getting ready to move or I'm in a moving truck right now and can't help you.
Now I owe you a "Grinch" touche'

| The only 'tag' is Jon's subject title is different than others in this thread. If you're talking about ghost threads, we've never done that here - if we did, we'd have more ghost threads than actual ones, lol. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^ | |

This is what I bought (see page 12.) About $19 for a pair, with shipping. Summit Racing @ eBay

| No. To do this mod, the center socket on each side has to be replaced with a dual-filament type, like the outer bulbs have. From the factory, the center bulbs are only tail lamps, not stop/turn lamps... Please go back to at least page 10 and read forward from there. | |

hahah most of the work was done by the front bumper of a '94 chevy pickup. If you wanted to actually take the lens off, you would have to probably heat up the tacky stuff that keeps it glued and sealed to the housing. In my case, I grabbed the remaining edges of the broken lens and pulled slowly and the got it apart in pieces. If you want to keep your lens in tact, you cannot do it like that. Like I said, probably need a heat gun and something to delicately pry it with.

| Hi, I'm in the middle of installing a sequential light module I've had for over 5 years. It was meant for another project car, but that never happened. Anyway, I have a quick question for those in the know to spare me reading the entire thread about sequentials yet again. Can someone who knows tell me if the flasher in a '95 Riv is mechanical or electronic? I have manuals coming, not here as yet. Thanks in advance.
BTW, does Riv Performance have a more robust search device available? When I search, I only seem to get results about topics, nothing from the text of threads. Makes for large reading just to find out something like the question I asked above. Sure would reduce redundancy in the questions put forth, eh?

Yes, there is. Please read the search guidelines "How do I use the search feature?" under the Board FAQ tab at the top. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^

| For those with experience installing (whoever's) sequential directionals:As mentioned earlier in this thread, I've installed a seq. kit left over from another car project I was unable to get to. The kit is from meter4it.com. It's meant for a Mustang, but I intended to be used in an Explore with mods. This kit allows for sequential or stock settings with a dip switch, and also a "chase" option similar to sequential, but visually like a "wave" effect that repeats. Unlike sequential mode where the individual lights come on and sequence until all are lit, chase mode lights each lens in order, but as the second light comes on, the first goes out. As the third light comes on, the second goes out, etcetra, cycling in that manner. After the install, I do have an issue as yet unsolved. Here's how it stands: > Flashers work in each of the 3 modes (sequential, chase, factory). > Brake lights also work in each of the 3 modes (sequent and stay lit for seq. & chase OR all 3 lights come on in factory mode) > Blinkers do not work according to the plan. They come on when I use the stalk, but in all modes all 3 lights come on and stay on. NO BLINK. To blink, I have to do it manually with the stalk. Of course I could use hand signals. Do you remember those? I see the Riv has two flashers (according to AllData). I assume one is dedicated to the emergency flasher, the other for directionals. At this point, they are not modified. Anyone have some experience, insight, or ideas. | |

Consider getting the electronic replacement flasher - the OE thermal flasher is OK with the stock load but not differently loaded. Tridon EL12 or Standard EFL1. I have yet to see a decent auto parts store that didn't have them in stock. Consider getting the "truck" version that will handle up to 12 bulbs if the store shows it.
