1995 alternator wireing harness

Hey for whatever reason my electrical connector just crumbled into pieces. Does anyone know where i can buy a replacment?

Looks like that but mine has only 2 wires in the back of the connector.   95 rivi

I may be wrong though. I will double check when i get to the house.

Ok so it is only a 2 wire harness. A green wire and a red wire. 2 leads. Any idea where i could get that connector?

Can't imagine why that is unless someone put a different alternator on there. If Rockauto doesn't have it, I'd say you have a problem unless you can match something up at a parts store.

Ill look into it and post back. It was defiantly the OEM Alternator when i bought it.

Does the harness just give information to the PCM or does it control the charging?

What difference does that make? You need it for proper alternator operation. You may be able to substitute generic crimp on connections.

Just cuerious. But its definatly a 2 wire connector. I cant figure out how to upload pics from phone. If i get a 4 wire connector could i just splice the cables i need?

Doubtful. The connector can't be the same with 4 wires. You can't post pictures on this board, you have to upload them to a host like photobucket, then link them.

I was able to just splice the two wires that i needed. They were labled S F L P and the origional connector had the same but tge wires were just S and L. So i spliced those and were all good!
