| That's amazing Eric. Looks amazing. I was thinking about what type of black to paint mine and I'm loving that black pearl. This may be a silly question, but how the hell do you get in with no door handles? | |

| Through the window.. Duke of Hazzard style.
Actually I have remotes and an emergency pull in case the battery goes dead or if I misplace my remotes.

| I was hoping you had something other than the window, wouldn't want to mess up that awesome new paint with your shoes. | |

| It's from www.decalfx.com (the one you directed me to Chicken). I got the tint in a roll 24"x72". It has backing paper that you peel off of the sticky end. I used a water spray bottle to soak everything down and give me a little time before the sticky side sets. Just sqwedgie (sp?) the excess water out. Seems to adhiere very well when dry... even the edges.
Picked up $120 worth of heavy cut, medium cut, and machine glaze for final buffing this weekend. Most of the sanding is done on the body.
Also got my Nitto 555 tires today! Just by feel they seem very soft and sticky. I hope these will last 20k mi before I have to replace them. Their mounted and will go back on the car tonight.
Got my new O2 sensor today since I smoked my last one on the Dyno running 110 right before it went into paint.
Things are coming together.

| Here's a few more photos. Block sanding done waiting for heavy duty rubbing compound... I was a little nervous sanding on the fresh paint. I used 1500 and 3000 wet. Half the car done... Look at those reflections! Tomorrow I will go over the car again with a medium compound then Thursday I will go over it one more time with the machine glaze. Should be ready to start putting back together this weekend... | |

| We'll have to get together one day and compare paint jobs! From the look of it yours is going to turn out much better than mine but it would be interesting anyway! | |

| Did you think about replacing the factory horns, while you have the bumper skin off? Seems like the perfect time. You could add tones and stuff, just pull the horns off a late model Cadillac at the pick and pull... you'll have to modify the brackets a bit but that's not a big deal.

| It's going on a diet so the only thoughts I have had regarding the horns is to remove them (maybe leave one on). | |

| Everything I can!
Rear bumper is getting cut (front already done), all the air leveling is getting removed, vac canister is getting removed, antenna assembly, front seats (replacing with 23lb seats), horns, all emission equip already removed, lighter battery, rear seats getting a work over, excess framework metal that won't affect rigidness, some interior sound deadening removed and replaced with better, lighter material, spare tire and trunk carpet already removed .. basically anything that I won't use is being pulled, ... I'm hoping to remove 300+lbs total to get it closer to the GTPs weight. It's going to take a lot of little deletions to add up to any significant weight loss.

| drill 1/2" holes though out the body! Sure, it will look like shit but you'll save 5 lbs. and when you reach speeds over 60 your car will whistle! | |
