| '98 is by far the best year.
I wish I had this car when I was 16. Just don't wrap the big girl around a tree though and you'll be fine. | |

| Hey Travis welcome aboard. And don't feel like you're too young. I've had my Riv since I was 19, I turned 20 5 days later. Careful with the mods though. Don't go too fast because you could blow an engine like me. | |

| My first car when I was 16 was a Riviera, but it was a 1977 model. That thing was huge. I loved that old car. I think I actually miss that car more than the 1980 Corvette I had about 9 years ago. I have a 95 Riviera now and would like to get it re-painted because the paint is getting in bad shape. The first pic is my '95, the next one is my first Riviera, the '77. It's a black and white pic, I know... The car was white, with a blue vinyl top on the back half there. The FuelMan | |

| Welcome to the forum, FuelMan, My first car was a 1949 Ford twodoor. My brother named it "the wicked rust spot". It was a deer hunter's old car. I never did get to drive it plated, but I also had a 1964 GTO 4bbl 4 speed and a 1965 GTO 3x2 4 speed. They were fun cars...... Now all I have Are Riv's - '65'& '98'......... | |

| welcome. My first car was a 1984 Caprice classic, i loved that car and still love those cars. My younger brother wrapped it around a tree a week after he got his liscense, about 4 years ago. I'm still pretty angry about it. | |

| Ah yes, pride goeth before a fall. I didn't get my first ticket until I was 30! Used to brag about that. I was just REALLY lucky I guess. That and my husband's VET tags help out (so he says). I travel 52 in southern OH ALOT and its just so easy in the riv to glance down and see 80 in the 55 zone. "Honest ocifer George! It's the CAR, Not ME!!!!" I WILL get busted one of these days and unfortunately so will you. BTW get caught or suspected of racing in WV you automatically lose your lic. ANd prepare yourself mentally for that first scratch cause it WILL rip your heart out and dance on it. This reality check brought to you as a public service announcement Anyway, welcome to the forum that will be with you through it all. | |
