What type of 'chip' did you get? Why don't you think it works?

| its b/c those are gimmick's and yield 0 net hp, sorry but your safer not running ANY "chip" regardless of what the site says. zzp and intense both sell 1.5 bin pcms which do a little to help out a performance engine, but even those yield very little hp.(use to do things like add a little timing, up rev limit, remove speed limiter, etc) if you want to tune it then you will need either DHP powrtuner or HPtuners software and a laptop. _________________ 1996 with 254k miles, L32 4" FWI -> ported N* -> Ported Gen V w/3.0" Pulley, Stage 3 Phenolic I/C, ZZP FMHE, 1.84 RR, Headers and 3" pipe to mufflers, F-body brakes, and lowered on Eibachs. -RIP AMG C400 White on black. | This isn't the thread, but as I understand many of these 'chips', they add a resistor in the MAF signal, which fools the computer into running rich, or they fool the IAT into 'faking' the outside air temp to alter the amount of fuel and timing.
Both of these tricks are dangerous, I would not touch these things with a 30 ft pole.

Street Tech is out of business - if it even was a real business. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^
