| I am thinking, "Should I pay $50 over retail for a generic set of springs made for Cadillac, or should I just pay a little more for custom Riviera application, to my exact specs?"
Glad you found them, though. Glad you found them, though. Good product, but they are asking too much! I'd expect none the less from you, in terms of a custom application. I was about to pay $360 + shipping when I found them on a shady website in December. $300 shipped is awesome.

| These same springs used to sell for $249 per set. I guess with shipping they'd be $275-ish? So they're only a little overpriced. It's cool that you're going to be changing your ride quality. They should make a nice improvement - without rattling the car to pieces! _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^ | |

No way are they overpriced. I challenge you to find them anywhere else. Consider the additional $25 a convenience fee!

| Good find. I may look at firmer springs at some point, but don't want the car lowered.
That's what I did with the Roadmaster. It's got SS bars, 9C1 springs and Monroe severe duty shocks which firmed up the ride and handling quite a bit but kept the stock ride height.

| FYI. These Eibachs are ~75% stiffer than stock. I am not autocrossing and racing dudes like all of you are.. so I am totally cool with dropping 1-2" and increasing spring rate with a plug n play install for $291.65 SHIPPED! OMG HE LOWERED THE PRICE. WHAT ARE YOU FOOLS WAITING FOR!? | |

| Yo yo yo yo. For all you guys sporting Eibach STS springs, what kind of struts are you running on? Any problems with premature wear and tear? Any and all feedback is appreciated! | |

| I originally ran KYB's but i blew threw a set (literally) after about a year IIRC. Im using Gabriel ultra's now and they have been on for 30k hard miles now. _________________ 1996 with 254k miles, L32 4" FWI -> ported N* -> Ported Gen V w/3.0" Pulley, Stage 3 Phenolic I/C, ZZP FMHE, 1.84 RR, Headers and 3" pipe to mufflers, F-body brakes, and lowered on Eibachs. -RIP AMG C400 White on black. | Thanks for the note, Mr. Riviera. I still am still on Monroe quick struts minus their quick, wrong part #, springs. Got OEM # Moogs on instead. I guess we'll see what happens once I swap on STS Eibachs.

Cain you comment on if the Gabriel's are former than the KYBs? I can't but maybe Mr. Riviera can. EIBACH STS VS OEM Comparison The Eibachs are progressive hence the range in spring rates. Note that the rear Eibachs are initially much softer than OEM rates.. interesting..

| Important to note that "progressive" does not always mean "gradual" in terms of rate change. Depending on the design of the spring, the rate may increase gradually, or it may function as dual rate, e.g. 171 lb up to the bind point, then switch over to 217 lb. You can tell how the springs will function by looking at the coil construction. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^ | |

Cain you comment on if the Gabriel's are former than the KYBs? Honestly i cant say i noticed a difference. I was replacing a blown out set so just having a working pair made a big change in ride quality. dont think i could corner any harder with either set though. _________________ 1996 with 254k miles, L32 4" FWI -> ported N* -> Ported Gen V w/3.0" Pulley, Stage 3 Phenolic I/C, ZZP FMHE, 1.84 RR, Headers and 3" pipe to mufflers, F-body brakes, and lowered on Eibachs. -RIP AMG C400 White on black. What else have you done suspension wise? Wish you had the details in your sig! How long have you had the Eibachs installed?

| Haha at some point there is no room for info AND pictures.
I have eibachs, STB, front and rear addco sway bars, and all poly bushings. pretty much covers everything i wanted to do except a rear STB. I would eventually like to sub in a koni insert in place of regular struts, but not till i am able to have the car down to mod it up.

| Ouch that's kinda like the time I thought I got an addco rear sway bar for 50 bucks! The website had a pay lowest price kind of thing and I tried typing in 50 dollars and google.com for the website. To my surprise it worked and let me check out and pay! or so I thought. 10 minutes later after ordering I got a call from the website.... ha oh well | |
