Panic on remote and horn problem Empty
PostSubject: Panic on remote and horn problem   Panic on remote and horn problem EmptyMon Jun 02, 2008 10:41 am

On my 98 I just got the horn does not work pressing on the steering wheel, thought maybe it might be the switch which would mean changing the airbag. I noticed also that when I press the panic button on the remote the lights flash but no horn. Thinking it might be a fuse or relay I asked where they were & were told. My mechanic checked the wiring to the horns, okay. The fuse & horn relay was also there. Any idea what else it could be. I thought if the switch on the steering wheel would be bad the panic button would still sound the alarm.

Can you jump one of the horns with 12v+? Does it make noise? (just to make sure)
