| I bought another Riv today.
61k miles, 1995 Buick Riviera SC
unlike my old Riv... -the gas door pops -the trunk opens -the interior pin-hole lights are both funtional -got extremely low miles -starts immediately etc. etc. etc.
It's Sprial Grey Metallic. The same color avaibale on the Corvette.
I had made up my mind to buy when I saw the interior. Not only is it taught and without cracks and creases, it's the rare charcoal black interior. Perfect for my project.
The bad. It's been sitting for a season so the brakes and rusty. The interior back lighting for the shifter settings has moved and doesn't therefore work good. The hood is Aubergine in color cause a mishap in Hamton beach caused the original one to be messed up.
So it's kinda embarassing having the two-tone Riv that's only the hood. It looks ghetto-cool. Perfect candidate for paint.
I so went ahead and bought it. I stayed home from work resting from a head cold and ended up buyiung another car. We a figuring the possibility of the 3-car situation. Worse come to worse, I bring it to the local Herb Chamber dealership and he'll give me a check of it. I'd expect equal or more value than what I paid.
Drumroll please....

1995 Buick Riviera SC 61k miles.
$1350

| It was an hour drive to see the car. On the phone the guy sounded like an older guy so it put some of those fears aside.
The owners, who bought the car from an elderly man who died, live in a new rezoned mill luxury loft. They 'vacation' to Florida during the winter season.
The brakes had rust on them, and the exterior(obviously the hood) had crackle and a few scratches.
Underneath looked like it rolled right off the lot. Not the Carlsbad Cave looking rust museum of my old Riv.
It would have been a tough sell if it was the Lipstick Red or Jade Green leather interiors cause I'm just not into them, and my idea for the project calls for black interior. This was PERFECT!!!!
I will shoot some pics this weekend.
My dad was at work when we got it so he was powerless to argue. And I think he believe it was a good purchase too.
My sister is freakin' she does not want me to have this many vehicles.
If I can work my spacial engineering skills to house both cars in the back for winter, this might work.
And again, though I don't plan too, worse come to worse I bring it over to the dealership and they right me a check. But finding something soo rare. I don't want to think about that if I don't have to.
Features include -multi deck tape player. No CD player. -Leather wrapped steering wheel -All pin hole lights work. That's insanely good. | |

| so since this is a project car, are you going to swap the series 1 to a 2? or play with the series one for a bit? _________________ | |
