| Can we get white light bulbs for these corner lamps? My headlights and running lights are eurolamps bright white and when I use these corner lamps, they are that yellow orange light.
What bulb should I look at to swap in for these? | |

| I used TR-3 with similar results. I think it is the factory clear spray coat, and not the plastic iteslf, that discolors, oxidizes, and peals. Wondering if a clear coat for UV protection might be a good idea now that the factory clear coat has been polished off. | |

| I use 1200 and 2000 grit sand paper to wetsand and then 3M rubbing compound with a buffer once or twice a year and they look like new after but they start to yellow a bit after a few months but it takes less than 5 minutes to do them both each time so thats not really a burden. | |

| I think it's been about a year since i did mine. I polished them to perfection then clear coated them with urethane clear coat. Robo suggested it to me once...they haven't changed in the slightest since then! | |

| Great suggestions as always !!! Picked up the 3M and Turtle Wax kit off Amazon for about $7 each. Just finished using the 3M kit. Spent about an hour, turned out pretty good . Wish I had a corded drill though, although the cordless would have done it on a full charge. Put on a couple coats of synthetic wax will see how long it stays clear. With the drill attachment, correct sandpaper, and polishing compound should be easy to cleanup again. Went ahead and did the entire tail light this morning (recharged drill), and had enough left over from the kit. A few of my neighbors were watching me, and a couple thought I was ruining my tail light when they saw me sanding it. Have to admit I was also alittle worried too. After finishing though "we" were all impressed with the results. Just take your time, and use plenty of tape ................ | |
