Windshield wipers soaking the doorpanel???

I dont know if its just me but everytime my wipers are on or the window is opened when its raining the water comes completely in the car.

Is this a problem i just have to deal with cuz theres no doorframe or is there any tricks to get this to stop? Im a smokers and its annoyin to get my whole doorpanel soaked wenever i want a cig.

It's a sign to quit. Seriously though, our wipers have a habit of dumping everything on the windshield into your lap if you use them with the door open; you're not alone.

This has been a problem ever since rain gutters were removed in the interest of low drag coefficients.
I've found my Riv isn't nearly as bad as my Park Avenue was though.

I have the same problem. The geometry of the wipers and the aerodynamics send everything the the upper left corner of the windshield. Do what I do, crack the passenger window instead and tap the blower up a notch...
