| Here's the info on the back. Let's toss around a few ideas here. I'm open to keeping them IF they are indeed good mids. It's a bit of a hassle for me to run these into town and mail them and I'd like to get this job done. AA doesn't seem to think I need tweeters in back, but if f I do need tweeters in back, there's room to mount the CS2 tweeters on the crutchfield adaptor. That's what the round design beside the speaker area is for, isn't it? Would it be a terrible idea to use the CS2 tweeters? I've been thinking about ordering two more pairs for the Charger, so I could ask for a discount on future orders. How much do you think I should ask for if I keep these mids? | |

| I would be a bad idea to use the CSII tweets anywhere, imo. If you mount tweeters, they should be the MB Quarts that were intended to work with the drivers you have. If you want tweeters, I think it would be easier to return the ones you have to the seller in exchange for a new set. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^ | |

| Looks like the guys going to be a dick. I've emailed him the last couple days trying to get this straightened out, but he hasn't replied. Just emailed him again. That's the last one he gets before ugly time. | |

| No reply again. AA, I think you can safely put up a warning notice. Dude's not going to do the right thing.
So what should I do, other than give him a bad rec on eBay? These mids aren't the speakers I ordered, but if I can't get the coaxials the mids are likely to be the best speakers for the rear I'm likely to see. Nothing else will match the coaxials, right? Not for $40 anyway. So if they work, I need to keep them.

| Nobody wants to say you got PHUCKED. j/k If they work as mid's they will be fine in the rear. AA has said all along that he believes the fronts should do all the work and the rears should be set to low volumes if at all. Once you put a small amp to power at least the fronts these will sound great. To amplify all 4 speakers won't require a large amp which will allow you to get a great quality amp for reasonable amount of money. This is where the experts can chime in regarding the recommended size and brand of amp that will work best for your application and budget. | |

| I can absorb a $40 fucking every now and then, and it's not a total loss. I've got a great set of mids and a place to use them. I'd just like to see a warning put in the first post. | |

| If this guy is ignoring you and giving you the run around, leave him a negative. I'm generally against negative feedback and low stars but it's seller like this who deserve it. | |

| I'm back in touch with the seller. I'm embarassed to say this may have been my fault, at least in part. I've been replying through the ebay notifications I get in my email which seems to have only sent the replies right back to me on eBay. I logged into eBay and replied through there, which worked. So this may work out yet | |

| In the '80s, a/d/s were some of the best speakers to have. In the '90s MB Quart, Boston Acoustics, and Oz Audio were some of the best. Nowadays there are several brands that are really good, it's hard to name them all.
Infinity was good, but was more of a consumer level brand, not as popular with the SQ competitors who demanded a ruler flat response. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^
