A lot of people like these on this car they are really light, and the big reason i got them is they are low maintenance and easy to clean.
But i kind of wonder what a set of cragars would look on our cars
I can do it if you find a better picture of those Cragars, I'm not having any luck finding any.

| I do too but they are starting to get pretty worn out. I could always do what I was gonna do and only pay $250 to get these ones powdercoated black? | |

If it doesn't hurt you to drop an extra grand on the Boss's they are bad ass wheels. I've built a couple of bikes and I love how powder-coat looks so that is another option. I like your wheels, I think they look good on there as is, but if that's not the color scheme your going for then get them powder coated and sell them for more if you don't like them. To fix dents, I just used the lasso tool to outline another part of the door, copied and pasted and just used the move tool to place it until the dent was gone. I'm not that great at Photoshop (I actually use a free app called GIMP) but I can do a few things with cars. My father is law makes greetings cards and stuff and hes crazy with it. Google the "photoshop bible". Its a website that really teaches you how to use it.

| Personally if I were to do it again I would buy the Boss 338's in black with the chrome lip. They came out after the 1's I currently have and I think they woyld look absolutely STELLAR on a black Riv. FastBuick95 I know you said you like my car, but yours would be nicer if you bought those 338's IMHO...hey, w8 a minute, on second thought maybe you shouldn't buy the 338's LOL. | |

| Subject: White 95 Riviera. Chrome wheels or black? Mon Feb 07, 2011 6:38 pm | |
| Toying with the idea of new wheels. I want them to look "classy". Was thinking either 17 or 18 in wheels. I like the wheels that usually come on newer Buicks, so a set of "take-offs" is not out of the question.
Do you know of any "classy" black or chrome wheels that would look good on a white Riviera? Please post pictures or links. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

| Well I think 2tone rims look dynomite on the Riv. I like it where the lip is left in silver and the center is painted black or a dark gray.looks sharp.ties in with the Rivs chrome trim. something like this | |

| That's on the right track, but those particular ones don't appeal to me. I think the extra holes for the universal fitment kinda turn me off. How do you think these would look? | |

| Yeah, they both probably look too "pimpy", lol.
I think I'll just find a nice set of factory wheels off of a newer Cadillac or Buick.

| Those look kind of nice. I'm gonna look em up.
On a side note, I remember know why I haven't used this message board for awhile. Everytime someone makes a new thread, a mod merges it into a really old, really long thread somewhere else so that A) you stop getting notification when someone else posts, B) it's hard to find, and C) when you're perusing the boards looking for info, and you see a three year old thread with 33 posts, you're much less likely to go through every page to find what little info you're looking for.
I'm sure someone is going to move this post to the suggestions section or something.

| I think that Outlandish rims dont look right on the riv.I havent seen any that do.Round hole rims look good. And mostly classic rims. anything that looks like it belongs on your neighbors 88 civic with 10" round muff.....forget it. pimps are going out of style.. just my opinion but lets face it,the Rivs lines are sophisticated... | |

| So I found these in the parts department at the dealership I work at. I learned they came off of a Cadillac that was traded in. The tires dont look like they have more than 5km miles on them, and the wheels are immaculate. They're bigger than what I was expecting to pick out, but for just $500 for the set, I couldn't pass them up. The car is being supported by a lift, thus the excessive gap above the wheel. The diameter is near identical to factory size. | |
