| Ah ok, that makes sense...I thought my eyes were deceiving me or something or my dash faded in some way. I always assumed the dash pads stayed the same from 95-99 and that only the new climate controls and radio and the addition of the heated passenger seat were the only changes made to the interior. | |

| Nice job on the pin striping, although I don't think it's what I'm going for. BTW the dash in my '97 with beige int. is dark brown but I wish it was black. | |

| I have beige in my 95 and the dash is dark brown as well....I wonder if this was only with beige interiors? | |

| I have been wanting a wood dash kit for my '07 Riv with the red interior, and have only been able to find one pic of a kit installed in a red interior car. I presume others have the same issue. I have seen a few very nice wood kits installed in cars with the lt brown or gray interiors, but was hoping we could start a collection of pictures as a tool for forum members to use. PLEASE DON'T FILL THE PAGES WITH COMMENTS,.....THE MORE PICTURES AND LESS CHATTER THE BETTER IT WILL BE. PLEASE ALSO INCLUDE THE MANUFACTURER AND COLOR OF THE KIT WHEN POSTING and a short comment about its' fit and finish. I'll start the thread off by re-posting a few other members' pics (hopefully they don't mind). Larry70GS has this Sherwood kit in Rosewood. Jack the R has this BD kit in Ebony Zebra wood on a lT Grey interior. He wasn't real happy with the fit of it or the number of dammaged pieces. Also, the lower door trims did not have labels on them like the Sherwood kits do. Kit unknown. Car that was on Ebay. 99Rivman has Burlwood on a tan interior. 97Riv-Jon has this BD kit on a Taupe interior. (Kit wood type unknown) ToledoRiv s car with a Chery Burl Wood kit from Sherwood. The wood is a bit dark for my tastes with this interior color,...I'd like more contrast, but am not sure what direction to go. Silver Carbon possibly? jrocka managed to get this Spectrum kit off Ebay for $50. He didn;t have a choice of color though, and the wood finish type isn't mentioned.

| Mine looks pretty much identical to the last one posted. I believe it was light burlwood.

Sure would be nice to have a thread with just pics so people could find them easily.

| Sorry this didn't work out the way you'd planned, Stuart. I wasn't aware you were going to take it upon yourself to compile all those images. I think your idea was good, and I was only moving similar topics together to add images (and comments) to the thread. The problem is, people are always going to make comments, suggestions, and discuss "what-if" scenarios, etc. I could try moving or deleting comments, but it usually just makes people angry. I like to encourage comments and discussion, and I think every post needs to find it's place. I couldn't find a better place for these posts than here, but I'm open to suggestions. In the future, if you want to create a special thread, please run it by me in the form of PM, and I'll consider it. Thx. P.S. - your images have been resized. Mine is brown and still provides too much glare. (1998 with tan interior) I didn't know there were black one's. Anyone have a comment on how much glare is projected onto the windshield with the Black. I would be inclined to change out my dash panel or use some interior paint on it. Any comments on the Color, Glare and /or possible paint to use that will reduce the glare AA, I too would like to see just a Photo array of various wood trim kits on various color interiors possibly with a mention of what color exterior paint the car has. As that seems to influence peoples decision as to what color wood trim kit would be best. There's got to be a way of just a compilation. IDK.? Even though, I had to make a comment / ask a question here. It is a difficult thing to do / not to do. | |

I purchased my '95 dash kit on ebay for $75. I got one off of eBay that is the simulated black carbon fiber that fits the '96- '99 Riv for $40, figured the price was right to have a spare. Randall, I know this is a very old post, But did you ever install this kit and if so on which vehicle. Exterior and interior colour please.

Rick, The "WOW" quote and "$75" quote above was from the one that is pictured above in my '95. It is the Sherwood Kit in my Black/Platinum Beige '95. If you are talking about the Black Carbon Fiber Kit shown on page three of this topic, no I have never installed it. I was just kind of holding it in place so others could see what it looked like on the Light Gray Interior of my Silver Arrow. I am thinking about putting it in the "BAD" Silver Arrow, I just haven't decided yet?

What is the exterior color of the car that it is plannned for. It wouldn't be Green Mettalic and located in New England, would it. Oh, Merry Christmas to you too. Rick

| i like it tho BUT...i think the ones on the door where the buttons are too much...
just the upper dash whit door plastics where the vents and passenger climate controlls, also the centre from centre vents till shifter. rear vent and maybe rear passenger sides.
anything else woudl be a bit 'ower done' in my eyes. but it's just in my eyes. every person has diferent taist.
otherwise very nice kit, which mine could have been real wood..

| I almost bought one with that color exterior. It was just a little too Pink in the sun for me though. If i didn't have any other choices at the time, that's the one I was going to buy. It was a clean one owner, the only drawback was it was available from the Buick Dealer and they were not going to budge on price. | |

Lots of metallic in the paint. It really pops in the sun. The picture I posted does look a bit pink though.
