| Wait, your dash is black, right? And your rearview mirror? And gauges, shifter, CD holders... there's a chance it could work. But only with black, not any other color, imo. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^ | |

| thats what my thought behind it was..i like ur opinion Aaron..definetly wouldnt try it with another color though.. heres the list i concocted of black features gear shift. all the guages cd player radio vents top of the dash windsheild wiper and direction lever all the little buttons, windows, lock unlock, temp gauges
so i thought thered be enough black to back it up...

| I really don't think your pic looks that bad. I'm not a fan of steering wheel covers unless they fit really well and look somewhat stock. It's not the color, it's the fact that it's a cover. Sorry, I'm biased... _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^ | |

| I didn't realize the top of the dash is black...my bad. It may work then. Wish there was a way to tie something black into the seat. That might help too. Everyones taste is different, if it feels right for you then by all means do it. | |

| Hey! Black seat belts would look tight if you can find some in salvage. I still say beigh floor mats though. | |

| The dash is black. Go with a dark dash kit (carbon fiber, black wood). The black you've got in there really brings out the black vents, dials, radio etc.
Or you could paint the interior purple to match the outside. ;)
I wonder how an aluminum-ish dash kit would look...

| I hear you. If I'd gotten a cover when mine had 25k miles, I wouldn't be seeing the color rub off the foam part of the wheel where I hold it all time. It's not bad, but I don't like it how it's coated and not solid... there's a reason to get an all-black steering wheel.
At one point, all Riv dashes were made black regardless of interior color, in the effort to fight glare. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^

Aaron, they can fix your steering wheel where the color is worn off. There is a guy who has a business here called Dr. Vinyl that goes to dealerships and fixes rips in seats, etc. said he can repair the steering wheel too. When my car was broken into and the stereo stolen, they boogered up the dash pretty good and I haven't been able to find a replacement in better shape than what I already have. He's going to fix the dash to 95 percent (in his words) and said he can fix the wheel also. Just some FYI...

I do have the 10pc carbon fiber kit that fits '96-'99, it is gloss thats for sure. I don't recall ever seeing a kit that was solid black. I have not installed it, I just got it because the price was right and figured I'd have it if I ever needed one. I could try and get it in place against the gray interior of the Silver Arrow and get some pictures if you would like. It might be next weekend before I could though. a) I'd like to see it against grey b) How much did you pay c) Was it a once-in-a-lifetime thing or can I get the hook up? d) Get moving it's April now!

| Love the Rosewood look. When you installed it, do you have to remove the existing wood trim? If so how? | |

Yes, you have to remove the existing trim. You have to pull the dash to get to the screws from the back side of the trim plate. Same as pulling your radio. The center console is a metal backed decal and peels right off.

I'm holding it just in case I run across a Diamond White '97 with a Graphite or Gray Interior, I think that would round out my set pretty good. One of the First, a Middle, and one of the Last!
