| Hometown Hero's kit?
I dunno about the marble pattern. I'd stick with patterns of materials you'd really find in a car.

| honestly, wood is not a material you should really find in a car. But I've seen interiors trimmed with carbon fiber, stainless steel, chrome, simulated animal fur, etc. None of which I'd like to find in my car. Thank you for your opinion though. | |

| RickW I like that color scheme you have going on and Hometown Hero, thats the same color I was thinking about getting. I think we have the same interior (light blue?) and I was looking at gettting the grey wood kit. I dont have the center console to set it off all the way though. | |

| No, I have the Charcoal interior in my 95, the camera was just a POS. The kit is Titanium burlwood not "marble". Same as the other burlwood patterns just a grey base color instead of assorted browns like 99 Rivman has.. Trust me if you saw it in person not in shytty camera pics the opinions of it would be much more favorable. It was a toss up between this 1 and the black onyx style. | |

| And this was from the ebay seller as well? There are so many different sellers and I dont want to buy one from one website and then find out next week, another site has it for $50 less. | |

| When I bought my kit, I wanted the kit that had labels for all the switches on the door panels. The only manufacturer that does that is Sherwood. The kit I bought was real wood (Rosewood), and the lettering is on the wood, which is covered with a thick layer of polyurethane type material. That means the lettering will never rub or wear off. If you are going for a wood grain, get the real stuff. It is much better looking than the fake stuff. | |

| I looked at theirs but they didnt have anything in my color scheme that would look good. It was more geared towards the lighter toned interiors. I have the light blue. | |

| When I spent a bunch of time looking into a wood dash kit I remember the general opinion from everyone was that the Sherwood kit was the way to go due to fit and finish. The extra bonus being the switches are marked properly. I remember reading complaints from different people on here about problems they had fitting the pieces on, from other manufactures. So I decided, that when I do it, I'm going to use the Sherwood product. | |

I saw some pics of your dash kit i was wondering i didnt see that you used the brushed aluminum piece that fits on the control panels on the doors?? Does the aluminum dash look like a real aluminum brushed look? Your Riviera is one of the best ones ive seen!!Where did you get that grill? Thanks for replying

| Thank you for the compliment, Robert. Just type "GRILL" in the search feature or go to this link: https://rivperformance.editboard.com/t719-write-up-custom-chrome-grill?highlight=grilland it will give you lots of info on Modding your grill. As for the dash kit, actually there were two or three pieces that I chose not to use. Sometimes, less is more IMO. Yes, it looks like real brushed aluminum I think. It gets lots of admiring compliments. | |

| has anyone came across this company; MimoUSA? http://www.mimousa.com/product/Wood-Aluminum-Carbon-Fiber-Dash-Trim-Kit/Default.aspx# what i notice about alot of these dash kit companies, is that they are located in NY and in similar if not the same area. i need to figure out if they are the same company and/or sister sites? i see they tend to steal others pictures. when you fill out the options for the riv, it shows a pic of someones dash kit on here... but i am sure its not from this company? i have been patiently waiting and looking for a dash kit that has the most pieces, have the labels written on them, and preferably real wood.. then again i could actually care less about that. i need to contact this company later and see 1; if its real wood they use? (i cant seem to find that answer on their websites, unless i am simply over looking it and 2; if the buttons are labeled. | |

| My pictures are at the beginning of page 12. As far as I know, Sherwood is the only dash kit that is labeled. My Sherwood kit is real wood. The color is Rosewood.

| Im wanting to buy a true carbon fiber sherwood dash kit. For those of you that have purchased sherwood kits, where did you get yours from? Price is important but customer service and quality shipping is even more so. I'd appreciate your help! | |

I got mine from www.carid.com They had excellent customer service. After installing my kit, I discovered that they had reversed the words "Lock" and "Unlock" on the passenger side armrest. I called them and e-mailed a picture. They acknowledged the problem, and I was shipped a replacement from Sherwood. Everything was handled very quickly, and I remembered thinking that I would use them again in a heartbeat if I needed to. _________________ 98 Riviera SC3800 All stock except gutted air box. 1970 Buick GS455 Stage1, TSP built 470BBB, 602HP/589TQ Best MPH, 116.06 MPH, Best ET, 11.54 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UHCda-t_Jls https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sfT2tEO4XcU

| Thanks Larry, I appreciate it! You think the carbon fiber would look good with burgandy interior? I think it would go really well, but that's just my opinion.
