| I agree - I like the dark woodgrain, it breaks up the ocean of dark blue quite nicely. Looks good! | |

| Looking good so far. Are you keeping a consistent weave throughout everything? (Dash pattern lines up with door pattern) | |

| Phew, I bet that is a PITA to keep straight and snip just right to make the curved edges turn out clean. Looks good.

| i gave up that idea (linin up the direction of the weave). the heat gun has been burning my fingers but the dash is under way. broke it down into 3 parts center first then pass side then driver. im takin a break before i finish the 2 holes on pass side then the 8 holes on the drivers side will be a huge pita. looks like im gonna have more than 2 rolls left when im done. what to do with it???? | |

| bout 30 bucks in materials( less really i have 2 rolls left and it took a lil over one for the dash) and a whole lot of time plus one jealous gf cause the car was gettin more attention! lol. somehow i managed to pretty closely line the weaves up and no i just did what you can see in the pics for a somewhat diffrent look. if someone can send me the back off one of those fancy dash kits i could pre cut the stuff like them . if so shoot me a pm | |

| Adding my latest addition to this thread. Brushed aluminum-look instrument panel cover with black leather covering the faux wood radio surround, ashtray cover, cup holder and shifter surround. | As I said in another thread, that Riv dash was made for brushed aluminum. Why the designers didn't do that as standard from the factory, I'll never understand. Great job on the install my friend. | |
