Is it possible to up the shift points on our 95s?...Im kinda not content with my car shifting @ 5200rpm...feel like its not using all its potential... is it possible to flash your pcm, or get a chip to change this?.... evil

Have a look at this thread:

https://rivperformance.editboard.com/series-i-scans-tuning-f14/code-scanning-setup-for-the-1995-riviera-t144.htm

Found on page 2 is this link:
http://www.3800pro.com/forum/general-tech/26439-tuning-obd1-3800s.html

Also you can get PCM from http://www.gmtuners.com/.

Its worth a note that the 95's powerband is lower RPM, which is why it shifts lower than the series 2. You would really need rockers to take advantage of a tweak in the shift points.

Agreed. Even Series II engines don't do much breathing above 5500 RPM unless you mod the intake, combustion, and exhaust stages for better flow.
